First grown in South America, potatoes are the product of a plant also found proliferating after the Great War.[1]

- Daniel Bird wrote a memo to himself, describing potato as a "difficult word" and outlined plans to change the spelling to "potatoe." Bird also mentions the sentiment in dialogue, asking the Chosen One how they spell it and attempting to spell it both ways out loud.[2][3][4]
- Potato Crisps are a consumable found throughout the wastes.
- The tombstone of an individual named Jay "Potato Feet" Nielson can be seen in Fallout 2, randomly generated in the Den, Golgotha or Redding.[5]
