Maxwell "Max" Stone (VID 208-197-88-125) is an inhabitant of Vault 13 and a potential pregenerated player character in Fallout.[1]
Background[edit]
Maxwell, along with Natalia Dubrovhsky and Albert Cole, is one of the three pre-made player characters available during character creation at the beginning of Fallout. When Maxwell was born, the labor bot tending to him dropped him on his head, negatively affecting his intelligence.[1][Pub 1] In Vault 13, he is known for his physical strength and stamina and was given the nickname "Stone" by his friends.[1][Pub 1] His "tremendous size and strength" make him fit for exiting the vault, which he has no qualms with.[1][Pub 1]
Notes[edit]
- Max is the only character playable in the Fallout Demo. While his biography is the same as in the retail version, his ST and EN are lowered by one, which results in some derived stats also being lowered. In addition, his Bruiser trait is replaced with Jinxed in the demo.
- The Vault Dweller's Survival Guide uses Max as the character in the tutorial.[Pub 2]
