Jessup is a Great Khans leader holed-up in Boulder City in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background[edit]
When encountered in Boulder City, Jessup is holding two NCR troopers, privates Private Ackerman, and Private Gilbert, hostage. He also accompanied Benny and dug the Courier's grave before they were shot. He argued, albeit briefly, with Benny over the burial of Chance, whom he had watched out for since the onset of Benny's mission. Jessup was able to easily intimidate Benny into allowing the burial, as the other Khans backed his threat.[Pub 1]
During many portions of All Roads, he exhibits fierce loyalty to the Khans and, more personally, to Chance, watching over the troubled man as if he were a brother or son. He acts as a leader figure following the death of McMurphy.

Notes[edit]
- In All Roads, when Benny refers to Chance as the Khans' friend, Jessup ambiguously corrects him by saying that Chance is family.
- He will later be found in Red Rock Canyon, if he is allowed to leave Boulder City. He can still be interacted with, but has no additional dialogue.
Quotes[edit]
- "What the hell? You're that courier Benny wasted back in Goodsprings! You're supposed to be dead!"

- "Here - a souvenir for you. It's Benny's lighter. Shove it up his ass when you catch up with him."

- "You think you can take me, punk?"

Appearances[edit]
Jessup appears in Fallout: New Vegas and All Roads.
Bugs[edit]
- If one helps Jessup get out of Boulder City without killing anyone (through the Speech check), he will say he has a long walk ahead of him. If one meets him at the Great Khan settlement in Red Rock Canyon, he will still say he has a long walk ahead of him.
- If one sneaks into the Boulder City ruins (through a Sneak check), Jessup will be found dead, but the Khans with him will still be alive.
- Jessup and his crew will be hostile towards the Courier when they kill the NCR hostages, even though they killed all the NCR for him to escape during Boulder City Showdown. This will also occur even when they are not in the same area, meaning only Jessup and his crew will be hostile at Red Rock Canyon.
