Fuel Cell Controller

This chip controls the flow of power into a car's electric engines. Many drivers quickly burnt out this chip through frequent rapid acceleration. Still a valuable part to have -- if you only had a car to install it in.

The Fuel Cell Controller is a quest item in Fallout 2.

Usage[edit]

The Fuel Cell Controller is needed to get the Highwayman at the Den's junkyard working.

Location[edit]

Skeeter at Gecko's junkyard has it. He can be traded a Super Tool Kit for it (reward from the quest Deliver pliers (tools) and a wrench to Valerie). Alternatively, he can be killed for it.

Notes[edit]

  • The controller could be stolen in the unpatched game.
  • The description calls it a "chip", while the Chop Shop Mechanic claims the "Highwayman's got a full analog system and no computers."
