The Fallout: The Soundtrack comprises two elements including the song Maybe by The Ink Spots played in the intro and the ambient soundtrack composed by Mark Morgan.
Background[edit]
The CD was given out to 50 people who participated in a contest to provide Fallout 2 with a game subtitle, with the 5 best submissions receiving additional merchandise from Interplay. The winners were selected on February 27, 1998.[Ext 1] Some of the winning subtitles were, "Fallout 2: Rise of the New World", "Fallout 2: Twilight's Last Gleaming", "Fallout 2: War Never Changes" and "Fallout 2: The Reconstruction".[Ext 2]
