A-2018 is a Synth living in the Institute in Fallout 4. They also appear in Fallout: Wasteland Warfare.
Background[edit]
A-2018 is a hostile Synth encountered in the Institute's reactor room during the quest the Nuclear Option with any faction. A-2018, along with XPN-20A and Z4K-97B, will serve as the game's final boss during all endings other than the Institute ending.

Notes[edit]
- It will only appear during the Brotherhood of Steel, Minutemen, or Railroad endings and will always be hostile to the player character.
- A-2018, along with XPN-20A and Z4K-97B are the only known synths to have more than four characters in their names.
- The Synth will often use a triple-barreled missile launcher, which fires high-damage missiles at long range in rapid succession.
