Albert is Candy's husband, not Terry

In "Candy's Secret Revealed!", an interview for the Keizensha Encyclopedia, Nagita says: "I decided to write a story that wasn't just a magical manga, nor a conventional story about an orphan girl searching for her mother, but the life of a girl who lives looking forward, and in that life I wanted to include three loves. The first is her initial love for Anthony, a fleeting love. A love made only of tenderness with a boy of special transparency. Then there's the youthful and stormy love for Terry, a love from which one must part even while still loving. And finally, I wrote a serene, mature, and predestined love for Albert-san."

Albert is Candy's husband, not Terry. This has been publicly and officially confirmed by the author herself, Keiko Nagita, in statements to the press. Any attempt to spread misinformation is merely an act of vandalism born of pure envy on the part of Terry's fans—nothing more.

Understood. Just take into consideration that I am a bit "new" to WIKI editing but I'll get back to you in due time with the relevant editing and citations. Nevertheless, I have provided the links to the official books by Keiko Nagita and her editorial team so that readers can understand how awfully falsified the disputed article really is. A notable example (among many) is that the aforementioned article claims that Candy is married to Albert and the final book by Nagita was written back in the 1970s-1980s. This is clearly not the case as Nagita continues to publish work and she has made notable and highly significant changes regarding her story about Candy (you may check my previous comment as I would not wish to repeat myself). To clarify, my intention is to confirm that the claims made by certain desperate fans about Keiko Nagita and her work are horrendously misleading. This is the reason why I consider it sensible for the actual author, official editors and translators to be contacted. As for the fandom dispute, it is noxious and utterly irrational. It's a pity though that this toxicity has permeated the WIKI platform; this place is supposed to be a "safe space" for intellectual integrity, assess to verified and verifiable information.
