devildollI don't like being called a liar, so I'll post this here, but I'm gonna flock it so this shit doesn't keep escalating. [ETA: Unflocked later so people without LJs can see the truth.] People who have said negative things about Gina on WRBeta are now getting flamed for their fics archived at the WRFA, so I guess the retaliation has begun. I don't want to do anything that's gonna bring a whole bunch of other people a lot of hassle.
Well, other than I already have, I guess. Heh.
Anyway.
At 2:51pm my time, Autumn posted in

amezri's LJ and claimed that Gina was not a member of the DDFH list.Nearly two hours later, at 4:34pm my time, I replied that that was untrue, because Gina was on the member list.
An hour or so later, Autumn responded and accused me of lying. She said there was no way I knew that for sure, because the member list is viewable only to mods. (This comment is screened and not viewable.)
And yes, the member list is viewable only to mods. Now.
That wasn't the case when this screencap was taken, clearly showing Gina's name on the DDFH member list, two hours after Autumn claimed that she was not a member.
If you look down in the corner, you can see today's date, and beneath it, though it's hard to read, it says 4:26pm.
So I suppose it *could* be true that Gina is no longer a member of DDFH. But. Since it appears that Autumn, just in the past four hours, lied about her being gone, and then lied about the member list, I guess I'm not convinced she's telling the truth now.
Which really isn't my concern, except that I'm getting really really tired of Autumn et al lying *all the damn time*.
And Amezri, I'm sorry that shit happened in your LJ, but all this bullshit and deception is wearing a little thin, and I've just about had it with the constant re-structuring of the truth that goes on in that camp.
Autumn was more than happy to welcome Gina (who was banned from DDFH for a brief time) back into the fold after she flamed jenn so spectacularly, like it was a reward or something for attacking one of their most hated enemies, and now she's trying to distance herself.
As is Jonas, who is backtracking like hell now about that email he sent me this morning.
Jesus.
Like a bunch of goddamn greased weasels over there.

Karen posted something recently on that list about being a protective "mama-bear" when people pick on her friends. (She also sent a private email to Tinhutlady awhile back, stating that Gina was a very good friend of hers in response to Tinhutlady saying it was extremely hard to beta Gina's work and that was why she has declined since.) Funny, I haven't seen her mentioned in the latest round of bull dealing with Gina. I guess the mama-bear is hibernating for the winter.
Any moment now I'm expecting Autumn to post a message about how crummy she feels about the whole fandom and how she's contemplating disolving the list, blah, blah, blah (like she did about a year ago) in an attempt to rally sympathy from that group.
It makes me sad to think I actually used to feel sorry for her/them. Well, I still do, but it's now in a "she's/they're sick and demented" sort of way.
