Hi everyone, I'm new around here

I'm just wondering, does anyone know of an LJ community specifically for Australian weddings? I've searched and can't find one. All the wedding communities like this one are great, but it's hard when so many of the people are talking about American shops that we don't have, and American dollars, I'm just hoping to find something more relevant for some of those details. If there's not one, does anyone think I should start one?

How did you and your fiance meet?: Online through his ex-girlfriend and an old friend of mine. It's always been mainly online, phone, e-mail & snail mail, but I'm moving there after I turn 18 July 2007. We figure if we can make it this long, and even that much longer we must be soul mates!
How long have you been together?: Off and on for six years!
What was the proposal like?: It was online. My phone was dead, and his Mom had his, and he didn't want to wait because he was leaving for the marine's in Ft. Meade,MD. He asked today. It still made me cry, and it's still special to us.
Who did you tell the news to first: My best friend. I'm not sure when to tell my parents. My older brother *26* got engaged in December and is getting married May 19,2007, so I'm thinking we may have some issues with two weddings in 2007. I'll definitely be telling my parents/family soon,though!
Have you started to plan your wedding yet?: I've been thinking about plans, but not really. I'm going to do basic stuff, and wait to do major stuff until he gets back from MD in November.</b>
