I believe he mocks you, Darkseid. Conceivably, he does not comprehend the truth of his reward. If you allow me, I can... teach him... to be more grateful. Gargon
Gargon was one of Darkseid's lackeys, appearing as a hooded figure with monstrous green hands, seated in a hovering chair. Serving as Darkseid's main advisor for the brief period after DeSaad's execution and before his resurrection, Gargon arranged for the abduction of the child Esak from New Genesis.

Notes
- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–1986 miniseries Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been either altered or removed entirely for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and thus should be considered apocryphal.
