Personal Notes: Yes, this happens to be written in the style of a Shakespearean sonnet. It is about a terrible event that happened to my best friend, and the night she came to talk to me about it.

Personal Notes: Was inspired to write this one evening when talking to illianaka about Homura, as well as hearing the wind outside. After having to suffer the bitter wind and temperatures of traveling in below freezing weather, it also gave me the idea for the latter part of the piece.

I've also wanted to write a piece about Homura for a very long time. It just surprises me that I wrote it so soon after finishing something else. O.o This is ALSO the first Saiyuki piece of mine that is rated 'PG.' ^^;;;

Personal Notes: I realized recently that one of my greatest fears is confrontation, and when I had to confront a close friend about a serious issue, I misspoke at one point and was metaphoricially slapped in the face by it. It left me feeling blank and listless, and very much near the point of tears.

After going through a whole day after the event (which took place in the evening), I finally got so frustrated by the whole thing that I just needed to put it down on paper. So that's what I did, in the middle of my Geography class. ^^;; Sometimes specific inspiration for things comes at the oddest of times...

(Yes I know this is a Christmas story and it's January. But I technicially haven't got all of my gifts yet, so I still say it's legal to post this. ^^;; )

::IMPORTANT PRE-STORY NOTE::

First off, this story is huge - approximately 10,000 words for the short version and 17,000 for the long version.

Second - the long version contains a yaoi lemon, so if you don't like sex between two guys, you're going to want to avoid this page and click the link to the R-version located on ff.net instead.

Third - while this story has a lemon in it, sex is not the focus of the story. It is not a PWP smutfic, and due to the emotions in this story, I actually prefer calling the scene a "lemon" as opposed to simply "smut." But that's just me being picky. ^^;;

Personal Notes: This fic was a MONSTER to write, and I'm completely serious about that. @__@;;; I expected it to be somewhere around 5k, but it ended up around 17k. The shorter version was finished in time for Christmas, but the lemon took a lot longer than expected. This is the longest one shot I've ever written, and I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out.

This story is also a gift to my lovely and dear friend illianaka, for Christmas. Much thanks for her for everything. Also much thanks for her for betaing this monster for me. Her help was much appreciated. <333333
