CanineXchange

What is CanineXchange?
Inspired by wolfxchange, this community was created for canine artists. It works like most other art exchanges, in that it is a monthly random "Secret Santa." At the beginning of the month, a post will be made by one of the community moderaters asking who is participating. Members can then post what character they'd like drawn. After a specific cut-off time, one of the mods will send out e-mails, (From either CanineXchange@Gmail.com or CanineXchange2@Gmail.com. DON'T DELETE THEM!) to the participants telling them who they got. Members then have a month to complete their images, and may post to the community with a link or preferrably an image, (Behind a cut, please. :)

What if I'm unable to complete my image in time?
We all understand that sometimes real life can get in the way of online commitments. If you need a little extra time, please make a post here saying so. That way the mods will know. Please keep in mind that you will be unable to join in future exchanges until your image is completed.


Sounds great, what do I do now?
If this sounds fun, please feel free to join and introduce yourself! Likewise, you may give character descriptions and information. Make a post with your info so that we can store it as a Memory for future use. An example of such would go as follows:

Description- Include ALL markings, eye color, coat, etc. Whatever you feel you need to add. It might also be a good idea to include reference pictures! Don't forget to mention what type of clothing, if any, your character wears, and what accessories it may have. If you insist, you can also specify location, and preferrably personality.

Anything Else/Misc-

So what are the rules here?
-All rules are to be followed by all members. Repeat offenders may be banned from the community.
-Don't participate if you have no intentions of completing your assignment.
-No auction promotion/advertising permitted + off-topic posts, etc.
-Please try to keep images and language PG-13 at most.
-Picture files should be of reasonable size (able to appear in the LJ window without distorting it.) Please use an LJ-Cut for these. (More info on LJ-Cuts may be found here.
-Original work, no copying, tracing, stealing, etcetcetc.
