Wild, Wacky, and Worse

Well... it's certainly been awhile since I've posted in this thing. Anybody still around? I needed a place to vent my work frustrations and this was the only place that's still fairly private.

I got married :D

Yay for nearly blowing yourself up! And yes....that is me screaming in both of them.

I haven't lit fireworks in like 10 years. I'm not big into fireworks at all, but I bought a bunch this year because James has never been able to shoot them off because fireworks are illegal in New Jersey. Enjoy and tell me which scream is your favorite.

One of my friends is a photographer and is trying to add more pics to her portfolio and James, Remy, Blix and I got to model for her. These are some of my favorites.

It occurred to me that I never posted anything but pictures about my surgery.

My surgery was on November 12th, I was at the hospital early. Very very early is all I can really remember. I wasn't too nervous, which really surprised me because I had been having anxiety attacks all week at work. We got to the hospital ('we' being me, my Dad and James) and I check in to find that the nurse is a little person. She was really cute and reminded me of Denny Crane's fling from Boston Legal. My doctor came in and drew on me and soon after that I was given some stuff that made me remember being pushed to the operating room and that's all I remember. I woke four hours later with seven pounds removed from both of my breasts. I had a hard time coming out of the anesthetic and ended up calling the nurses and James 'assholes' several times. I was in a lot of pain, getting two shots of morphine, a deep tissue painkiller and then two shots to help nausea.

James has been so wonderful throughout this whole process, taking care of me and making sure I take my meds, getting me food and helping me bathe. My mom has also been really helpful throughout everything. It makes me really happy that she and I have gotten a little bit closer.

I now have pictures of full on scars and stitches that I will send people if they want to see them. It's not for the faint of heart! Just let me know your e-mail and I'll be more than happy to send you a pic.

This was taken three days after my surgery. I was still pretty drugged up at this point and as you can tell from the picture, my boobs are still pretty sore. :)
