I really just mostly want cards for some cheering up. They don't even have to be holiday cards. So here we go.


~STEP ONE~
# Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ/Blog. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes.

# If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) can get in touch with you. Your home address is not required!

# Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part...

# If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes one person's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it.

# You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give and you might receive. You'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

I'll skip the obvious of the number 1 thing I really want, and go to the list in not really in any particular order:


1. Cards!
Seriously. I don't even care if they're not holiday cards. I just really need some cheering up. Don't know what to say in it? Tell me about your horse/dog/cat/bird/whatever. Tell me a joke. Give me a good recipe. or whatever you want to say :)

2. Laptop
Pffft, ok, I'm dreaming, but something awesome to do on my countless hours of dialysis would be awesome.

3. Stuff for my Cats
I have a lot I need to do before my big move, and I'm afraid not enough resources. I still need to get updated shots, new collar tags, and some calming agent for the both of them.

4.Giftcards
Seriously. Anything to help me out would be awesome. Places like Target, Walmart, Petsmart, or Petco are the most helpful.

5. Signal Boost/Buy Stuff that I post for Sale
Its not that I don't have room to store it, but I need money from the things I sell. I also have to be careful about what I take, because I don't have $1,400 to move with all of my stuff. So things like ponies and stuff have to go.

6. Edible Arrangement
This sounds really silly, but I've always wanted one of these. And so much better than dying flowers.


7. Amazon Wishlist
Just silly little things I want. I'll probably change the default address on this so it goes to my mom's and I don't have to move it.

8. Anything that would make my move easier
Know someone who can pack my stuff for free? AWesome! Volunteering to put stuff in the moving vehicle? SWEET. Possibilities are endless.

Hello LJ land (and to those of you who might still be reading this),

I feel now that it would be better for me if I could write out some things that bug me to get them out of my head. I am, indeed, at the threshold of my sanity and strength. There will be a lot of ranting and swearing, as well as all out whining and depressing issues. I may even make some silly or sales posts, I'm not sure yet.


This journal is more for me now, but you are more than welcome to stay on, or defriend me. Most stuff will be behind locked entries, so if you don't want to read it, just tell me you want to be taken off my friends list so you don't see it. I won't be offended.

Ok guys, I need some help. Since Brighthouse are a bunch of dicks and can't follow instructions and are trying to charge me for their mistake (okok, there are more reasons as to why I'd like to pull away from BH), I think it might be time to find a different internet service provider.

It needs to be HIGH SPEED, able to handle gaming easily, and NOT Comcast. Can anyone make some good recommendations?

Maybe, you know, I might actually start using this again....

Things really haven't changed much, unfortunately. I'm faced with an issue of my lease running out and finding a place, unemployed. :/ I found places cheaper, but they're an hour and a half away, near some other friends of mine. Even so, another $800 for moving costs seems almost hopeless. I really hate this apartment, and is a major cause for a lot of my secondary health issues, as well as my cats.

Some friends of mine and I were driving somewhere, when "Found Love" by Rhianna came on the radio. You know the one. The one that keeps repeating that she "found love in a hopeless place" If you still don't know, its this song:

One of my friends promptly stated "WTF, What would you even consider to be a 'hopeless place'?" After some pondering, we've come up with:

1. Prison
2. a 7-11 Bathroom
3. My apartment

So I get a text today "We thought we'd tell you.... You better change your locks. Some chick on the radio found love in your apartment..We just don't know how she got in?!"

I fucking hate you life. I just totally fucking hate you.


Car won't even start to take it in.


Just..... Fuck you.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let the issue JUST be the transmission fluid, and not the entire transmission.

I cannot stop raving about the awesome things about Carriage Trade. For those who haven't peeked in on my DA/FA journals, Carriage Trade is a Second Life based sim, focused around equestrian lifestyle. Only humans and theme-fitting quad animals are allowed there (cats, dogs, horses, etc), which keeps it special. No furry avs, fantasy, or kiddie avatars are allowed, and it proudly remains a PG sim. I admit, I didn’t know what to expect when I first went there, but because of its friendly atmosphere and strict “Be nice or be gone” rule, it has quickly become my home. Ridables are not allowed as respect to the horses living there, and drama is not tolerated.

The sim also holds several events throughout the week , which includes races, movie nights (for residents) with horse themed films, and riding lessons. We also take field trips to other sims to show off newly released creations. CT also has a unique feature--its Carousel-- Which uses quad avatars as the carousel horses. There’s even a spot for human-types to sit on the horses! We also do have a very nice cross country course with jumps that will break if you hit them.

There is also another unique feature, which is the Livery system in which you can "hire" one of the residents to take you on a ride and have them show you around. It's not too pricey- its only 300L for 15 minutes, and 500L for 30 min.

Because of the awesome ideas of the sim owner, Shenlei, CT is constantly changing and developing. New stuff is added on a regular basis. In fact, one of the new event features coming up are Second Life weddings! She has also just added in a garden to the property, which also features pick-able flower (which you purchase), as well as a cabbage patch (where the foals come from!)

CT has become so popular, in fact, that resident areas are filling up fast! There are only two horse accommodations left (there are also 4 stalls for ponies only!), and we do also have apartments and estates available for humans.

Sounds like a utopia, doesn’t it? It really is! If any of you are on Second Life, I strongly encourage you guys to stop on by to Carriage Trade and have a look around. We looooooove visitors, and might nose your pockets for treats!

LOL...wow, this is bittersweet. But its just my luck. I never ever ever win stuff. EVER. Lo' and behold (or is that LOL and behold?), I just won Portal 2 from a game site that I play on often.

They offer these raffle tickets that act like items, and you can win stuff each week or two. I wasn't even trying for the prize, and in fact was in the middle of selling off my collected raffle tickets. I shouldn't be complaining, but its not really a victory. I don't even have a system that I can play it on...if I even wanted to play :/ I suppose I can always just sell it, but which version should I get? LOL. LOLOLOLOL. Yay, bittersweet. XD

So yeah, if any of you want to buy it from me and save me the hassle of putting it on ebay, let me know.
