first day with my camera!!

my fujifilm camera came in today ... although lacking in an SD card (i'm buying a pack of 2 2GB ones), it has enough internal memory to allow at least a few photos for me to capture before i gotta offload them to my laptop/hard drive ... i've never owned an actual digital camera before or used one in any capacity (i think the one we had as a family i never put my hands on and now it's gone), so my photography skills are uh. rusty
im trying to figure out when i'd take the camera out with me ... the thing is i dont go out enough to really need to take pictures of memorable moments, but i also like taking mundane shots like flowers ... hell, i went out on a walk today and took my camera with me to just test how it is to take photos
needless to say they're kinda out of focus LMFAO. maybe i'll just take it out whenever i go out either on a walk, or on a hangout thing. doesn't hurt to have it on hand, even if it's more convenient to use my phone
