i am going to burn this town DOWN

i hate everyone here but The Chad. i have been going to the knitting night at the only yarn store here recently again. i stopped going and i couldnt remember why except for that everyone who went needed too  much help and the girls that own it are not very expierienced knittiers. so i was taking out stitches and fixing everyones projects instead of working on my own. then i would loose count and get my project all messed up. so i decided to just take stuff i dont have to cout on. well since i have been going back its been kinda nice and nobody needed any help really and its been fun.

varried and wonderous things

some more wonderous than others.
to start off ---id like to say that my drive into "town" yesterday was not unpleasant altough it was long and my butt is tired of sitting. it yeilded thses beautiful pix off the side of the road. i didnt tamper with thses. on a nice day colorado really looks like this:

number dos ----iWON!!! yay. in the one block challenge my pencil roll case won. i am proud. i think it came out pretty. here are the
other awesome entries too. i especially liked lezlishae's clever pocket idea.

numero C----i am donating one of my aprons to the AHH HAA school for the arts here inTelluride. they are having a fundraiser auction and contacted me to donate. i wanted to stick with the theme which was india but couldnt find the right fabric so i just went with something i thought was pretty. i think its my favorite one ive made. i wanna keep it! hahaha but i am dropping it off this morning so here are some pix:

and last----- i made vegetarian sloppy oes for dinner last night and i put chips on my plate and The Chad said look its a smiley face and low and behold it was. this reminded me of a cook book i had as a kid and how my mom and i would cook from it. i dug it out and when i opened it it had that smell. you know, the one that somehow smells like your youth. i dont know it probably just smells like paper but it smelled like MY youth which was full of books. Thanks mom!

ugh..WAAAAAAANH!

i hate myself again. i went all the way to freekin GRAND JUNCTION yesterday! let me put this in perspective for you. that is 3 hours away from me. 6 hour drive round trip AFTER driving to walmart #1 (a mere 1.5 hours away from me) looking for the components i needed for my newest harry potter craft swap, and black sparkle organza for my fairy costume for the oregon fairy festival i am attending (i think i really might be a fairy deep down inside hahaha or maybe right on the surface i dont know, i do like to flit). but this is not why i hate myself....

OMG I COULD DIIIIEEEEEEE!

went to see Jonny Lang at a free concert yesterday. and in telluride nobody ever goes to anything in Mountain Village. its about 1 mile away and directly above telluride by free gondola ride but whatever that is way too far for telluridians to travel for ANY reason. anywho i knew it would be a small crowd but i had no idea i would be in the FRONT FREEKIN ROW!!!!!!

july 4th

ok so yesterday was the 4th of july and i just thought id share a bit about how that goes in telluride. first of all there was a parade. in a town of 2500 people just about everyone is IN the parade. my little cousin in law alley entered her decorated bike in the parade. she covered it in fur and tied all her stuffed anomals to it that were endangered and got a posse of her friends to carry signs that they made that read "4th of july- endangered furworks" hahaha clever little girl. here is her bike. it won 2nd place!:

the jewel box

thats what they call telluride because its in this little canyon and when you go up in the gondola at night and all the lights are on in the houses it looks all sparkly. i dont have a picture of that for you but i did go up the gondola to board again. sunburned eyeballs and all. so heres a picture of that, and this is only at the bottom! i wish i had gotten a good one of it from the top. its kinda scary all swingin around on its little rope.

these are the sweet ass sweet headphones that The Chad got me for christmas. its practically like wearin a hat AND they drown out all the wierdos and sqallerin brats on the dear little gondola previously mentioned. oh... they are sqallerin... and jumping all around...and swinging the gondola wildly on its tiny tiny rope. did i mention that the gondola is closing down in the off season to replace the tiny tiny rope that has not been repaired or replaced in 10 years? its amazing i look so calm. really there is a tempest of anxiety raging inside me. can you tell?

okalydokaly, so here i am at the top of the mountain. i went with my friends justin and emily. they work at plum tv with The Chad. you wanna see a pic of emily?

there she is! yup i couldnt get her on my side of the camera but ill work on that. as per usual if you wanna se the pix bigger just click em.

ooooooowwwwww!

so i think i sunburned my eyeballs. can that happen? all i know is i have been snowboarding for 5 days straight i think and i wear my goggles every day and you think theyd be like uv proof or something with all that snowblindness running rampant and everything. plus they were like a million bazilloin dollars but that might have been for the glittery pink coating and not for the lenses who can tell? all i know is they are stinging like the dickens and sooooooooo red everyone is asking me if i have a 3 foot bong at home. i have almost used the mega sized bottle of  "systane" eye drops which have no red eye removal in them and i was verboden from using visine the last time i went to the eyedoctor because "its just making your dry eyes worse". how? dunno. anyhow how bout a pic?
as you wish.

see that puffy cloud (its small but look hard) right under that is freekin Utah! pretty good view i guess
