Cats on a vintage postcard
British Victorian and Edwardian illustrator Helena Jane Maguire (1860–1909), whose charming cat artwork was widely published as postcards during the "Golden Age" postcard boom of the late 1900s. Misremembered sometimes as "Ellen Maguire," Helena was famous for her soft watercolor textures, naturalistic animal portraits, and highly detailed anthropomorphic scenes
