Clearly, we need a new mattress... My back is killing me.  Jim came home from 4 nights at a camp and said his back did better on a foam pad with his sleeping bag than it's doing after 2 nights on the mattress.

That being said, I have two more work days until vacation.  The queen bitch has dropped her hours after her boyfriend got fired (what a great day that was) and has made it clear that she will not be going above and beyond anymore (which...was not her job to begin with.... the "above and beyond" was telling other people how to do their job and what they should and should not be wearing...), and may not be around much longer.  My tarot reading on the subject is saying by September. We'll see if it's accurate.  My cards have been on fire lately, so here's hoping.

redbrunja, I can't even begin to thank you for getting me into tarot waaay back when.  I didn't read for a while, but I'm getting back into it again.  I WILL LEARN THESE CARDS, DAMMIT! *ahem* Doesn't help that my deck's symbolism is weak as hell.  Methinks I've finally found the deck I want to create.

So I've been doing online tutorials for Copic Marker for almost a year now (scary thought, that.)

This was the latest. Too much fun with warm grays on Strathmore toned paper.

So I paid to upgrade the account.  And thought, "Hey!  I can go back to custom layers!" And then realized between it having been four plus years since I messed with custom s2 layers AND hopped up on muscle relaxants, my brain is going, "the hell is all this gibberish?"

So cute kitty layout for now.  I'll go figure the other stuff out later.  Now.  Sleep.

Really need some time away. Mini vaca would do.  Jim wants to wait until late August.  I don't know if I can keep my sanity that long.

Going through my scrapbook here and finding that when they did the conversion, albums got all cadiwhampus.  So as I'm sitting here resorting things, I've come across photos of Missy when we first got her 6 years ago.  We had to put her to sleep last year when she got a nasty upper respiratory infection about this time last year... but hid and I had no idea until it had been a few weeks and had turned into a liver disease that eventually she couldn't fight anymore.

I dunno yet... A total experiment this weekend... I think my biggest complaint is the likeness is *not* quite there. Might still tweak on it a little, but you can only do so much tweaking with watercolor...  16x20 watercolor on board
