Guy Hall
Biography
Guy Hall (c. 1891-1974, Harrisburg, Penn.) and Henry "Heiney" Kleinkauf (28 May 1886 - 4 August 1942) were band leaders in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in the early 20th century.
Both men were involved with dance bands and other musical entertainments at local gatherings. Kleinkauf was a graduate of the Ithaca Conservatory of Music and ran a piano studio. Hall was a booking agent, taught percussion, had his own dance band, and was active in local music union activities.
They are remembered for the ragtime piece Johnson Rag.
