The Wind Repertory Project website has always been - and will always be - FREE for all users. That doesn't mean that it is free to run and maintain, however. There are administrative costs associated with the maintenance of this site, including domain registration/renewal, web hosting, anti-spam features, software upgrades, and other miscellaneous costs. From day one, back in February 2008, I have maintained the site out of my own pocket, with donations here and there to help offset my expenses.

In order to keep the WRP free from commercialism (i.e., sponsored ads, links to only certain publishing companies, etc.), I have never accepted sponsorships nor any monies from large music publishers/distributors such as Hal Leonard, Barnhouse, JW Pepper, and the like. This helps keep the WRP free from advertisements, favoritism, and makes for a more academic experience when visiting the site. This does, however, put a financial burden on me whenever an upgrade or renewal is needed.

If you have ever benefitted from the use of the WRP - used its program notes, discovered errata, found a new piece to perform - I hope you will consider making a donation to the maintenance and upkeep of the site. You can donate any amount you wish, trust me - it all adds up when site renewal time comes, and every little bit is appreciated, whether it is $1 or $10.
