Program Notes
Electricity was composed at the request of Swiss band director Felix Hauswirth. He asked Bukvich to write a piece like Voodoo that would be suitable for junior high students. Incorporated within it are visual effects like flashlights and darkness.

An original work for band from the unique and creative mind of Dan Bukvich, this work effectively introduces contemporary effects and notation to younger players in an approachable and entertaining setting. Three short movements entitled Power, Black-out and Incandescence create a completely fresh work.
