Program Notes
Cheyenne Adventure takes the listener on an overture-style ride that is reminiscent of the Old West. Underlying rhythms and percussion effects enhance the feeling of western flair throughout the main theme in the minor mode. The contrasting Adagio section features a lyrical solo for tenor saxophone or French horn.
