Madeline Maud (Hutton) Ashenden (1897 - 1956)

Biography

Madeline Hutton was born in 1897 in Bundarra, New South Wales, Australia (about 330 km NW of Sydney, Australia). She was the daughter of George Hutton and Catherine Dezius. ^[1]

When she was 24 years old she had a daughter with an unnamed father, called Mary Laline Hutton (1921–1959). She was christened at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church on March 15, 1921. ^[2]

Madeline married George Herbert Ashenden on February 10, 1923 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Bundarra, New South Wales, Australia. ^{[3] [4]} Together they had at least three children.

1. Gwendoline Ashenden (1924–1968)
2. John Leslie Ashenden (1926–2018)
3. Lorraine Catherine Ashenden (1937–2014)

Madeline Maud Ashenden died on November 05, 1956 in Bundarra, New South Wales, Australia at the age of 59 years. ^{[5] [6]} She was laid to rest in the Roman Catholic section of the Bundarra General Cemetery the following day. ^[7]
