Maggie Doris Hutton was born on April 9, 1900, in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom. Her parents were Edgar Hutton and Lily Sawyer.^[1]

In the 1901 England census Maggie (age 11 months) was living with her parents and uncle Edward Sawyer in St Matthew, Suffolk, England. Her father was employed as a wood joiner, and her uncle was a cabinet maker.^[2]

In the 1911 census Maggie (age 10, scholar) was living with her parents and 2 siblings in Auburn Villas, 48 Richmond Rd, Ipswich, Ipswich, England. Her father was a carpenters labourer employed by a builder.^[3]

When she was 22 years old she married Arthur Charles Scrivener (age 21, son of Frederick Scrivener) on April 22, 1922, at Stoke Green Chapel in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.^[4]

In the 1939 register Maggie was living with her husband and children at 82 Cemetery Road in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. Her husband was a chargeman carriage cleaner who passed hunters and guard duties.^[5]

Maggie Doris Scrivener died on October 29, 1984 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom at the age of 84 years.^[6]
