Biography

Kathleen Clair Green, known as Kay E. Green, was born on May 8, 1908, in London, Ontario, Canada, and passed away on January 1, 1997, in Belleair, Florida. She married Robert V. Green on April 15, 1936, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where they lived until moving to Belleair in 1978. A homemaker and devoted Methodist, Kay was actively involved in her community, with numerous newspaper clippings highlighting her participation in various clubs and associations in Harrisburg during the 1950s to 1970s. At the time of her death, she was survived by her children, Elaine Claire (Green) Carlson and Jay Holman Green, and her granddaughter, Tami Green.

She was a homemaker and Methodist. She was a member of Belleair Garden Club, Republican County Committee Women and the Navy League of Pinellas County. Survivors include a son, Jay H., Belleair; a daughter, Elaine Green, Harrisburg; and a grandaughter, Tami Green, St. Petersburg. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes, Largo Chapel.
