hi i'd just like to ask a couple questions regarding autorelan if that's okay... i'm amasui and noticed in this post https://www.tumblr.com/qaivan/825325594797654016/hello-i-like-your-term-autorelan-and-i-have-a there are some complications regarding how the term autorelan is used. if i coined a term for an autorelan relating to alternate version(s) of one's self, is that a general term that's fine (like general boyfriend autorelan), or would that fall into an odd vague spot? i'm not sure if it falls into the currently existing things complication, other version(s) of myself tread a fine line between fictional character and plurality and something else entirely. so i'm just a bit unsure whether this would fall under autorelan, or something else. thank you if you respond, but no pressure if not!
and if i should just say 'an alternate version of one's self' instead of alternate version(s), let me know if possible
not ivan but im p sure you can use autorelan for yourself and/or alternate versions of yourself.
and alternate versions of yourself are still yourself in some way, and you exist, so they fall under "currently existing:" like we said, something doesnt have to be physical and/or tangible to be currently existing (which is why autorelan can be used for things like fictional characters and such.)
i also know ivan made it with anything that can be partnered with in mind, including objects and concepts, so i dont see why coining an autorelan based on yourself or versions of yourself wouldnt be allowed!

Oh yes, I understood that it was only meant to be used for one singular individual. Sorry, I totally failed to communicate that in my response to your response, that I understood that now. I'm having a hard time communicating right now in general (I'm recovering from top surgery). I also failed to mention that what I'm going to do for the use of the term isn't to coin any terms under it after all, but rather, because my system has a site that lists our labels, we're just going to label "autorelan" as one of our genders, and then there's a page where it talks more about everyone's experience with that gender, and then it talks more about the specific introjects and whatnot and how that is or isn't different from other relationships that contribute to us experiencing that gender. Sorry, I'm genuinely not communicating very well today. The problem is much more on my end than yours.

Hi, thank you for answering my question about autorelan. Thank you for clarifying my misunderstanding about the term. In hindsight, I think I made the misconception that it was less specific that it was simply because I do not see a lot of genders coined that are basically intended for only one individual to use. However, given that these are autonine genders, that makes sense why that would be part of coining one. Thank you once again for explaining.
oh, i dont know if im misreading your response, but i think i may have miscommunjcated in our clarification? what we meant was that autorelans arent for one singular person to use, but theyre meant to be related to one person at a time. so like you can make an autorelan related to one guy, but not multiple guys or a group of guys. anyone can use any autorelan (unless its related to a specific real person in this universe in which case, probably ask if you can use it)

Apasharing - one does not care about doubles whatsoever or feels indifferent rather than uncomfortable or comfortable. It is "apathetic to sharing".
This can go for anything that could have doubles (alterhumanity, yumeshipping, etc.). It can also be used for anyone who may just be confused on what sharing status they have, like an “I don’t know” state.
What are doubles?
Doubles are people who have the same [x] as you. For example, one yumeshipper meets a second yumeshipper who has the same f/o (fictional other). The second yumeshipper is the former’s double, and the former is the second yumeshipper’s double.

I made this to describe how I feel with my fictionkin doubles, but I also made it for @qaivan’s 100 coining event. The prompt I chose is “death, decay, and/or stagnation”, and I chose to go with stagnation. Stagnation is the state of something still, unmoving, unchanging. For this term, I interpreted it as something more to do with emotion: a sharing status in which the feelings are still, indifferent, unchanged, or unmoved when encountering a double.

not the same person obviously, but this did answer something we& were curious about. if we're& referring to a specific alter, and the alter happens to be an introject /and/ uses the same name. would something like "name"(sys name/abbreviations) autorelan be a proper use? since it's specifying a specific individual and not all introjects as a whole?

Hello! I like your term autorelan, and I have a question about whether something would be coinable under it or if it is too much like coining an autorelan about a real person without their consent.
We're a system, and we get a lot of factives, including multiple factives of the same person (I'll use Jerma985 as an example). We often have relationships in-system with these factives, where relationships with factives of the same person often have similar things in common.
If I coined an autorelan that was defined as existing in relation to one's relationship with a Jerma FACTIVE, but not the actual Jerma himself that our factive is introjected from like from real life, with the intent that that term could cover not just the current Jerma factive we actually have but any Jerma factives we may split in the future as well as any Jerma factives that exist in any other systems, would that be okay? I could put "factive" in the name of the term if that helps, like "jermafactiverelan" instead of just "jermarelan".

hiii okay so we& talked to ivan and it says that isnt how rots term is supposed to be used. and he wants to make sure people dont misunderstand the term, so im just going to clarify a few things for it while pyro's in headspace
so, autorelan is for specific people, things, and relationships (so like autorelans made for one real person, a general boyfriend autorelan, a laptop autorelan, and autorelans for fictional characters are all okay). its not meant for vague people or multiple people at once. so, unless the term is for a specific jerma factive, it wouldnt fall under autorelan.
so like, for instance, lets say your jerma factive is called like. idfk. Jerald. coining jeraldrelan is okay, but jermafactiverelan isnt, because thats neither the type of relationship with them or who the person actually is, its a descriptor of them.
autorelan is also meant for existing things, and not meant for things that could exist or do not currently exist, it doesnt necessarily have to be physical or tangible, it just has to be currently existing. this is mainly because thats not what autorelan is for, but also because you cant ask for consent from something that isnt currently existing, you know?
if it helps, when ivan is in front i can see if flame would make something else you could coin under? no promises, though
