If you’d like to work with us at RIBA, these are the values and behaviours you’ll need:

  • collective strength

Breaking down silos to achieve more in collaboration

  • commitment to excellence

Taking pride in the quality of everything we deliver

  • value our differences

Truly appreciating diversity of thought and background

Benefits

We offer a number of employee benefits (PDF).

We have five colleague-led communities.
These employee network groups are a space for colleagues with lived experience and their allies to come together and celebrate our diversity while actioning changes within the organisation and beyond:

  • balance - championing parents/carers and their supporters
  • enable - upholding those living with visible and invisible disabilities
  • generations - connecting colleagues of all ages to discuss shared concerns
  • LGBTQ+ - celebrating members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies
  • celebrating diversity - recognising race and ethnicity and religion and belief

Diversity and inclusion is at the heart of our work. Here are just some of the benefits and initiatives available for our colleagues:

  • throughout the year we provide colleagues with a range of training and development opportunities to help increase our collectives knowledge and skillsets.
  • colleagues benefit from a wide range of free workshops, events, and resource packs through our membership with the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion.
  • on our intranet, you’ll have unlimited access to a growing list of policies and toolkits that foster a culture of mutual respect and positive relationships.
