Silver in Subnautica 2 is a plentiful resource that's necessary for fabricating Wiring Kits, which are an item used to create many important tools such as the Sonic Resonator, Wakemaker, and more. You'll also need it for eventually getting the Tadpole Diver vehicle which makes exploration much easier! These are all tools you're going to need if you wish to survive Subnautica 2's seas for longer.

To help you fabricate these items with ease, here's how to get Silver in Subnautica 2.

Subnautica 2 Silver location

I was able to reliably find Silver deposits in various early cave networks north/northeast of the Lifepod in Subnautica 2. More specifically, I was able to find them in a cave that was marked by Dangling Saps, which contained lots of unnamed green and pink flowers (these flowers often appear in the same caves as Silver and other ores like Copper).

To find Silver without any need to search aimlessly (though no exploration is aimless in Subnautica 2), I recommend building a Scanner Station inside your base at the earliest convenience. This device will be able to track and mark all resources within a 300 meter radius of your base.

To use the Scanner Station to find Silver, simply interact with it and select Silver from the list of resources. This then brings up a 3D map with various orbs showing where Silver can be found. Select one and a marker for that particular Silver deposit will be added to your HUD.

Now all you need to do is swim on over to that marker and collect Silver! Though, bear in mind that some larger deposits require the Sonic Resonator to break.

If Silver doesn't show up in the resources listed by your Scanner Station, then that means there's no Silver within a 300 meter radius of your base. This is unlikely to happen as Silver is not a rare resource but if it does, you'll want to try swimming 300 meters in a different direction, building a new base and Scanner Station, then try searching for Silver again.

Good luck tracking down Silver in Subnautica 2. For more, take a look at where to find Lead, where to find Gold, and where to find the Tadpole Pens Keycode.
