Yes, ‘Joy’ extended version is a great track, and the sexuality of ‘The feeling keeps coming’ is quite good, if a bit odd to listen to these days. But I think Isaac’s ego was more at play on this album.

Totally agree with everything you’ve written about Mr Edwards. I love 3 or 4 tracks on this album and his voice amazing on Spinners tracks too.

Someone shed some light on what happened to this guy. The four singles from this album were banging rap tracks. I know he was produced by PE guys, but what happened to him after the 80s?

Quite a hardcore rap/ New Jack album really. Sparse instrumentation especially on B side where it’s rap. I think this sound is prob quite cool to a hip young thing. Some soulful vocals on A side tracks.

This is a cover of 'Gotta Thang' by the Controllers on their 'stay' album. Or is it the original ? Anyway they are both good but the Controllers one is my favourite .

But '88 was also P.E , Juice crew , epmd and 45 king and all that good stuff BUT .... teenage romance ain't going away !!!!!!
