Welcome To Case's Column
Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken.
Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.
In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.
Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!
Regards,

Face It, Sports Fans, Career Politicians Just Don't Care About People
Posted 04-20-2026 at 04:51 AM by case44
Politicians will always let you down. They have before, and they'll do it again.
Let's face it, does America really want to go back to that horrible travesty that occurred on Capitol Hill between 2021 and 2024? You really don't want a return to woke Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, do you? I don't, and neither do you. After all, look at what it has taken the current administration to clean the mess up. It still hasn't all been fixed yet, but at least, you have fine folks trying their darnedest.
President Donald J. Trump is not a politician. He isn't. He's a businessman. And businessmen make better and more informed decisions on policy and trade and other matters than the average politician does. Trump is a way better negotiator than anyone I've seen in the Oval Office. You have to also remember that Trump is well-traveled and has, for many years, rubbed elbows with many world leaders. So, he didn't really have to be a Congressman, mayor, or governor. Some business leaders who enter politics generally do well. Then you have other servants who have been in the political spectrum but not really having done anything else of note, and they usually outstay their welcome on Capitol Hill. In Congress and the Senate, you have saints, and then, you have snakes.
It's never easy for voters to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Yet, this is where America is. Some states are still messed up where the subject is the election system. That, in itself, is another topic for another day, but Americans in too many places have had to put up with the bad results. Sometimes, you'll even have people who, at first, had great intentions and wanted to fight for the MAGA cause in making America great again. Then, for whatever reason, that politician would get away from their original support because they got offended by something. It may be a policy or some other development. One notable example came out of Georgia. Marjorie Taylor Greene used to stand up for the average American, fighting the far left and standing up for what is right. At one time, MTG was becoming a rockstar for the future Republicans. Not today. It came crashing in like a thud. She's become a turncoat because she'd indicated that she wants to employ illegal aliens in her business. Then you have Tony Gonzales from South Texas who just resigned last week over an alleged affair. And then you have those who still hate President Trump that they'd rather see MAGA fail. Senator John Thune comes to mind. What a useless slob he has been as the Senate Majority Leader.
And the examination of career politicians doesn't end with RINOs. It's also the far left Democrats who exhibit more hate than anyone can capture in his/her wildest imagination. I don't need to name names; you already know who these savages are. The pity is, the far left have become stronger fighters than their opponents. You've got to keep in mind ---- and I've shared this many times on Case's Column ---- that the number one mission of the far left is to control and destroy you. They want you to grovel to government while they get rich off of your money. They want to end Western civilization. Their recent actions, attitudes, and words ought to convince you of their evil and heinous nature, and their sick motives into resuming their chokehold on America. May it never be! In this important midterm year, it is crucial for Republicans, Independents, and anyone claiming to be a Patriot to stand up and get our arses to the voting precincts. But we also need to vet our candidates, to know much more about them. If they've been in office in another capacity, then you should learn about that candidate's voting record.
Societal rot does not have to be prevalent in America. Career politicians need to be replaced by We, The People. So much needs to be straightened out, from the halls of Capitol Hill to your state's governor's mansion, on down to your mayor's office. Get to the root cause of the problem, know what it is, and let's get it fixed.
The Washington establishment is not just part of the problem. The Washington establishment is the problem. This is exactly why President Trump wants to drain the swamp and restore government to be for the people, not the government. It's always about America first.

Here we go again: Yet another another attempt on President Trump's life, this time at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. What is that now, five??? Good grief, people, can't we at least have a little bit of fun now and then??
Americans are way past exhausted with left-wingers and their egregious, sadistic, heinous, never-ending hate. Hate of human life. Hate of humor. Hate of success. Hate of Western civilization. Hate of American exceptionalism. Hate of democracy. Hate of one very successful President who says what we've always wanted politicians to say and does what we've always wanted politicians to do.
Today's Democrats just hate everything. And Americans are put off by all this. Enough is enough!Posted 04-25-2026 at 08:17 PM by case44

Have we not learned any lessons from this year's State of the Union address?
If not, then I invite you to go back and watch it again. Listen to it carefully.................and then let it sink in.
You'll notice the stark contrast.
The Good Guys (Republicans) and the Bad Guys (Democrats). It couldn't be more Day and Night....Posted 04-25-2026 at 08:21 PM by case44

We need to quit demonizing ICE. They are law enforcement, and they are part of the Good Guys.Posted 04-26-2026 at 03:42 AM by case44

The far left's reputation in this country is so far gone that there's no way in hell they can ever recover from the damage, the filth, the rot, and the nonsense that they've hoisted on the American people.Posted 04-27-2026 at 07:54 AM by case44
