*headitlt* I do’t think there’s a single one of my OCs…except Clockwork, Riden, and Jagger…who wouldn’t feed birds. Even Abaddon keeps a bird feeder outside his house’s huge front windows and keeps it regularly stocked.  Jagger’s dead, so moot point, Riden has no interest or empathy and is currently sitting in PRISON waiting for execution, and Clockwork has no empathy and can’t bioengineer avian speciees so he doesn’t CARE.

Everyone else though? Good lord, yes.

Soc feeds the peep birds that live in the ground around the Knossos house every time he can get someone to take him outside with food for them. He’ll also occasionally feed the Murderbeak Heron (…gigantic heron-type bird) that comes through when it deciees to stop over in the creek on the property. And of course the 30 foot tall male Creelin comes and pokes his head in once in a blue moon to get fed cookies and check on the ‘chicks’ before heading back to the desert, the weird thing. And of course, the two (very tiny) species of plains hummingbird come to the house for nectar. Soc hasn’t managed to get them to land on him the way the peep birds will, though.

Phae is usually outside with him feeding the peep birds. He’s a little more wary of the Murderbeak, because he has managed to click to get a good picture of it and SOC IT COULD KILL YOU. But it’s been gentle so far, so he’s not too worried. …the Creelin just makes him laugh because it freaks his dad out.

There’s enough wildlife around Rel and Circe’s home to mean that everyone gets fed when the birds get fed. Circe keeps bird feeders in the garden and has hung four blown-glass hummingbird feeders on their porch, and they are visited constantly, sometimes with Circe sitting on the porch and being a temporary resting spot for the hummers ‘waiting in line’. So far the bleps haven’t figured out how to get to the feeders, though the lokis have. Circe has just started keeping treats for the lokis in two of the feeders and the rest for the birds, and it seems to be working as far as sharing goes.

The Twins have convinced their dad to have a bird feeder from the bubble-house’s porch. They keep it stocked, they just needed Ty to reach. They’re too short for it. It’s the only one they have, but the number of non-fishing river birds that come to it is enough to delight them when they’re not getting in trouble.
