Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Health and fitness

This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Health and fitness. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion
Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
  1. Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
  2. You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Health and fitness|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
Removing a closed AfD discussion
Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
Other types of discussions
You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Health and fitness. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

Please be sure to follow the three basic steps when nominating an article for deletion. While not required, it is courteous to also notify interested people—such as those who created the article, or those who have contributed significant work to it. Thank you.

Notability not established with substantive independent sources – standalone article not needed for narrow regulatory topic (merge to Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments may be appropriate but I don't see the significance) Reywas92Talk 04:16, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable dermatologist. No reliable, significant, notable coverage. ~Darth StabroTalk • Contribs 16:28, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I got my person from the WikiProject Women in Red. She is a distinguished dermatologist who has published over 30 peer-reivewed article and has made a major influence in skin-of-color work. She is also a clinical instructor of dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College where she teaches her practice to college students. She has also been featured in major media outlets such as Coveteur and self magazine. What do you suggest is missing in order for her to be "notable"? ~2025-37859-60 (talk) 18:51, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

To be brief, this article is a resume that relies heavily on self-published or other conflicted sources. I searched for independent, secondary sources that covered Storey or analyzed her work in any kind of detail and could only find the 2011 article in The Guardian (currently reference 3 in the article). One apparently independent newspaper profile (which reads suspiciously like a press release) combined with a bunch of conflicted or trivial mentions is not enough to establish notability. Non-notable product. Fails WP:GNG. Most of the content is WP:UNDUE - every product for use on humans needs a CE mark; and it's hardly news that products are distributed by different importers in different markets. Article creator has a total of 23 edits, all to either their talk page or this article, including moving it twice from draft space. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 19:58, 29 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Physician with no clear indication of notability; previous prod declined. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 10:16, 29 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This feels like far too broad of a topic, without a clear discussion of inclusion/exclusion criteria. To my knowledge, we do not have similar articles for other countries (though they may exist, named differently). Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 07:14, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Relisting admin note: policy based information on why you support a change in format (or not) will be helpful to the closer. Star Mississippi 00:01, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. This satisfies many of the WP:DOAC; "Categories only show the page name of each page being categorized", "Entries are arranged in alphabetical order only (though you can control the alphabetization). They cannot be organized into sections and subsections on a single page, each with its own descriptive introduction", "Categories are not shown in mobile view.". There is no reason why both the category and list can't exist per WP:NOTDUP and MOS:LIST#List and categories.
The sectioning provides valuable informational content that would require a multitude of subcategories or otherwise be lost in a conversion to categorization, which is a valid reason to have a list per MOS:LIST#Information and WP:NLIST's "Lists that fulfill recognized informational, navigation, or development purposes often are kept". Katzrockso (talk) 01:34, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:NLIST Agnieszka653 (talk) 21:40, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and convert to a list of lists page. This seems to be a valid "list of lists" article per WP:LISTOFLISTS. This may entail removal of some sections like "Intermodal terminals", "Ro-Ro ports", "Satellites", and "Weather", which are merely lists of the first order (i.e. the list items are not lists themselves).
