Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Health and fitness
| Points of interest related to Health and fitness on Wikipedia: Category – WikiProject – Alerts – Deletions – Assessment – To-do |
This is a collection of discussions on the deletion and merging of articles related to Health and fitness. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Health and fitness|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Health and fitness. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

Please be sure to follow the three basic steps when nominating an article for deletion. While not required, it is courteous to also notify interested people—such as those who created the article, or those who have contributed significant work to it. Thank you.

I propose merging to Tooth brushing because the two concepts arent distinct enough for separate articles, and would be better covered in one Froglord (Finnfrog99) (talk) 13:53, 24 August 2026 (UTC)

- Yikes, this is a mess. Large sections of the article appear to be have be LLM generated or processed. More generally, the article covers both tooth brushing and professional dental cleaning; I'm not sure the latter would be appropriate at the merge target. Omphalographer (talk) 18:00, 24 August 2026 (UTC)
- Comment: for what it's worth, given the LLM concerns that were brought up, the article itself has been around since 2003 (of course, that is not a reason to retain an article on its own), so in theory there's almost certainly a non-LLM version to reinstate at best (but this appears to not be the rationale for the nomination itself). No opinion on the proposal itself or anything else. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 21:07, 24 August 2026 (UTC)

Company lacks WP:SIGCOV. The page is also WP:PROMO. The scientific journal cited does not talk about the company itself. 🪙 Silvymaro 🌏 11:55, 19 August 2026 (UTC)

No evidence of notability, no independent reliable indepth sources about her. The Croix de Guerre was awarded 2 million times during WWI, it seems. The other sources are primary sources or unreliable ones as far as I can check, and no better sources seem available. Fram (talk) 09:25, 19 August 2026 (UTC)

- Why? Because you seem to think "the Croix de Guerre was awarded 2 million times during WWI" is relevant. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:37, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
- The Croix de Guerre clearly isn't in itself a very exceptional award, most people who received it are not notable. "Devotion under fire" is one of the standard reasons why it was awarded. There were obviously a lot less women than men who received it, because there were a lot less women than men active at or near the front. You removed the ProD because "how many women got the Croix de Guerre for devotion under fire?" and repeated that question here, but haven't indicated why this would be a reason to keep the article. - Delete, unless additional independent, significant coverage can be demonstrated. Alazar202 (talk) 09:51, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
- delete Non-notable individual; no book sources, nothing found in Gsearch, only an obituary for another person. I really don't see this as being notable, this reads like a short biography, nothing to show why this is notable. Oaktree b (talk) 00:26, 20 August 2026 (UTC)

Article is self-promotional, and though there is a fairly high amount of coverage, it's all confined to one section and is just proof that they offer different paid classes and activities. Doesn't appear to be a great deal of independent coverage elsewhere, from what I have seen. Haz215 (talk) 17:34, 11 August 2026 (UTC)

- Comment Someone just reverted much of the article and seems to have tonally improved it if nothing else. Haz215 (talk) 18:35, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) @Haz215: Yes, I've restored text from a previous version of the article, from before the recent changes by Whainstock. Agree with you on the promotional tone. Bridget (talk) 18:38, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks Bridget. Haz215 (talk) 13:35, 14 August 2026 (UTC)
- Keep: Even absent revisions, article content and WP:PROMO concerns are vastly outweighed by the 10+, 100W+ SIGCOV/RS sources that establish notability. Some revisions are still needed, but tone is much improved.
