Blading Blackout: Anyone want to join an aggressive inline skating team??????? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blading Blackout (talkcontribs) 03:14, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Does anyone have objections to adding the following content under the "Street" section: Street skating by rollerbladers and skateboarders alike is generally frowned upon by property owners. In order to grind on a ledge, wax must be applied to reduce the friction of plastic on concrete. A well broken in ledge may build up a black, waxy residue. This residue may be unsightly and the repeated grinding can cause unintentional damage to property in cases where the ledge may crack or chip. Usually skateboards are more likely to chip ledges because of the metal parts that grind the ledge. Atsmith227 (talk) 20:25, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Why does "mizou" redirect here?

Not mentioned in article. 31.50.70.172 (talk) 21:24, 3 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

It's a type of grind. Mizou once was an article. Then it redirected to List of grinds (inline skating). Now it all redirects here. ---Sluzzelin talk 00:57, 21 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Who keeps shamelessly adding that photo?

Someone should properly resurrect and merge in an earlier version of this article

edit

I've been rewriting Inline skates for a while now. It's not yet done. In the progress I've visited many related articles. While looking at edit history to assess reliability of text in this aggressive article, I found something strange. Random people appeared to keep pasting half-rewritten new versions of this article while losing a bunch of references. Then these are reverted as vandalisms. Nobody appears to be pre-communicating changes before making them. With a quick googling for sources of this half-rewritten version, I almost thought someone was pasting text from , archived here all the way back in 2013.

But that's not the case, this article back in 2012 was longer, and had better descriptions for parts of the article. The new article has lost them, while improving on other parts. Check out this random 2012 version I clicked from the edit history: . That Solar Navigator simply copy-pasted a 2013 version of this article, and incidentally preserved a snapshot of it, outside Wikipedia.

Just some information for whoever comes along in the future, trying to embetter this article.
