NaBloPoMo Day2: BEST Television Shows (Excluding Children's)

Hey - I seem to be on a role with this whole.... very last minute posting thing. Today was really not very fun. I woke up sick - went to church sick - went out to eat sick - came home sick - took a nap sick - went back to church sick - went to McDonald's sick - and came home still a little bit sick (actually I think the McDonald's food helped a bit... which I don't understand because I ate lunch. And a hot dog should've been better settling than a cheeseburger and small fry from McDonalds... *sits and ponders on this strange occurance.

Plus I've been super upset for awhile now... a couple days and I have to vent about it... and I feel that when I go ahead and vent about it to Charlie, he's gonna have to deal with a lot. Because it's all going to dump on his plate at the same time... and that poor boy has dealt with a lot more crazy than usual with me recently. I'd write about the issues that I'm having, but I just feel that it isn't the time or place right here... I should really talk to him about this first.

Anyways - today's theme is the BEST Television Shows (Excluding Children's) [[in my opinion]] So let's get started...

----~~~----

The Backyardigans: I love the Backyardigans because it is full of music, and every episode is about the friends using their imagination to turn their backyard into a new adventure, while singing songs set to music to a differnt style of music, which exposes children to the different styles, and an example of what pretending can do, and the places that we can go from our own backyards.

Blue's Clues: No - not "Blue's Room". I'm not a big fan of Blue's Room, I like Blue's Clues. And I fully appriciate the brilliance of a good Steve episode, rather than the Joe episodes. Blue's Clues goes through a certain process - giving children a theme - a question - and three clues to find and figure out how they go together to answer the question set before them. (Buttons, Numbers, and a ringing sound mean that Blue wants Steve to take a phone to college with him.) Steve is entertaining and is much better at interacting with the "children" on screen and the characters on the green screen behind him. [[Um, plus he's much cuter than Joe. Just saying...]]

Those are just my two favorites - the two that I watch the most [The Backyardigans I actually own several of - because I do enjoy the show myself - and also they are here for Emma & Jonathan to watch. Blue's Clues because it is on a lot in the car when we go places (plus, I used to watch it when I was little) since it's Jonathan's favorite show. I still need to get a couple episodes of it on my computer - I just have to fix my iTunes first.] And they are just shows that are still playing today, and prominent in my life. Picking my favorite children's shows from back when I was a child would be far too difficult and take far too long. Because there are the Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Arthur, Ahhhh! Real Monsters, Dinosaurs, Eureaka's Castle, Sessame Street, Wishbone... to name the ones that are in the front of my mind...

Ahhhh, children's television - is there anything better? Nope. Didn't think so.

NaBloPoMo Day2: BEST Friends.

I have some of THE best friends in the entire world. You would not believe how amazing that they are. I want to write about the people that I love - very much. And some of the things that they have done for me and why they are my best friends.

EMILY: This girl is amazing. We didn't like eachother when we met (nope, not at all) and when we first started to hang out it was through her big sister, who was my friend in Junior High - went to school with me since kindergarten. We became really good friends when she started coming to church regularly. Then we drifted apart quite a ways because of a few different people. Then things got hectic and crazy and she was there. We played a game that revealed truths and brought an apology that changed everything. Now I know I couldn't be luckier, because I've got an amazing friend, who doesn't hate me forever for falling in love with her uncle, and who is going to be the best maid of honor ever. :)

JULES: Love this girl. She's been there consistantly to take and give advice. We've pulled eachother through some very rough times, and this girl has taken the brunt of several of my random flip outs and not held it against me that seriously, just accepts the apologies that follow and finds a way to distract me when I need a distraction, or just talk and gush about actors or tv shows, or the newest horror movie (or romantic comedy or whatever but... you know..) We exchange recomendations for new music (and old) with eachother, and find that "Skate Minds" *Do* think alike. ;)

NaBloPoMo Day1: BEST setup.

January's theme is 'BEST'. Now I don't have a lot of time to blog today, mostly because I'm doing a cleaning of the room (which is actually more like a rennovation in this house) and I can not stay online much today. I have decided that I will begin with a discussion on the theme for the beginning of each blog, and go on to a discussion of the day if I have more to say- interesting and specific. At least to me. So I decided that since it is day one, I will start with the BEST setup that I have come up with. (Disclaimer: All the 'BESTS' are my own opinion - obviously - since it is my blog.)

January 30: BEST of the WORST Moments of 2009 (in my life)
January 31: BEST Moments of 2009 (in my life)

Yeah - that list may sound like I'm attempting to stretch things to go further than they should be able to, but I took into consideration the amount that I felt I could talk on each of them. Some days I may have longer posts than others... because some things I can talk about a lot more than the other ones... but *every day* I'm going to write. And it will all be the BEST!!! <3

Speaking of the BEST, Charlie Giggles got me season 5 of LOST, special Dharmaville edition and my grandparents got me Season 5 of LOST. I returned the regular one (really, no reason to have both - even if it means that the collection will *LOOK* strange on the shelf now...) and got back the money. So yesterday we went shopping before the annual New Years party in the church basement and I picked up the new flip camera for about $14 more than what I paid, so.... YAY! :) It is so easy, real amazing quality compared to the camera I've been using. And I'm super excited to record more on it.

Shame. That is all I feel.

That's right, you heard me. Shame is all that I feel for the content of this livejournal account. I read over the past page and cringed in terror for the style of writing and the mechanics that were brutally murdered. I mean - I'm no spelling-bee winner or anything, I make occational mistakes, but at least I no longer think in multiple posts that someone is an "ideot." *facepalm facepalm* - Oh yeah, that's right, a double facepalm, I am THAT ashamed of it.

Well this is just a message a few days after Christmas 2009, to say that I am going to participate in NaBlPoMo in January. Posting one blog post everyday during the month. I need to get into posting up again, and I'm sure that I'll have things to write about, halfway through the month I'll be starting off my fourth (and final) semester of college (the 2 year ECE program.) and I'm certain that I'll have a lot to comment about it.

I wish that I could open this blog up once more with a much better post - something relevant and interesting, but I hunger and thirst and need to focus on uploading Jules' video to YouTube (because she hasn't been around, so I didn't focus on getting it up before Christmas, and now I've gotta get it up so it's up there.)

LOVES && HUGS!!

Lean On Me - The Cast of Glee

I love us so much. :)

"You could have me." She said quietly, eyes locked on him. "We could let them live a good life. He got over you. I'm sure he's done with me by now. She'll forget." Swallowing a lump in her throat. "You could tear me to shreads and we wouldn't be hurting anyone. It's what we both deserve. For who we are..."

I'm Sorry

I never meant things to go there, to get so strained. And I can't afford for it to stay that way. I don't know when I stopped being able to cry, but I know the reasons why I was there. And I know the reasons why I finally broke. I never meant to hurt any of you. I swear I didn't.

And yeah, I've been hurt. There's very few people that I'm friends with that haven't hurt me in some way. Mostly recently, though it's not just your fault. I never spoke up and said that it hurt. I know none of you wanted to do it intentionally.

I just want to go back now. Before all of this happened. I want to go back to sophmore year... maybe before that. And I'm sorry that I've been different then myself. I'm trying, I'm working on figuring some things out. Please don't give up on me. Y'all are so important to me. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you. I don't have real friends enough to spare.

I don't know... I just don't know what to say besides I'm sorry, and thank you.

I love you all.

Let the rain fall down...

I love the rain, it's so amazingly peacefull and fun. I'm not a very big fan of hot weather or the sun, so when it rains, I enjoy it. I'm usually outside, walking or dancing in the rain, but I can't right now, cuz my parents are working outside and mom is convinced I have a cold. *rolls eyes*
I haven't coughed for almost two weeks and my nose isn't stuffed up anymore, how is this a cold?

The rain is dying down anyway.. blech. I hope it rains later, as the parental units are leaving in a few hours for the day. I also hope my brother goes. He was home last night when my dad picked Dreyita and I up from practice last night. I love him right to death, but I kind of have been missing out on the time I usually get to spend by myself. Not to mention I still love Oreos right now, so I really think I should spend some quality time with a sad movie and some ice cream or 'oreos' *drools*

Tommorow's Easter, so... HAPPY ALMOST EASTER!!!!

Luvz all.
