We aren’t trying to loose our street mag identity but we do want to move the mag forward and evolve. That doesn’t mean the contents will suffer. I have been able to add colour and bring in a designer because Mofo is getting advertising from the right sources allowing the magazine to grow. It will only progress at the rate allowed by funding from small labels and quality advertisers. If these areas of finance bring revenue then Mofo will survive.
We believe the contents will improve. After writing 7 issues of this magazine we have learned many things about the music business including who are the right and wrong people to grace the pages of this magazine.
Many of you have offered to take out subscriptions allowing more revenue but we still want to provide a free magazine, which was the whole point in starting Mofo. A free magazine promoting breakbeat but we may consider subscriptions to over seas readers because we don’t see any other way of getting the magazine to these people. Thanks for picking up this magazine and reading, it means a lot to the people who have provided articles COMPLETELY FREE of charge working in their own time.
