Ahh thank you so much for reading! As for the RSS feed, you’re not the first person to ask about it! In truth I’m not super tech savvy, so I don’t really know how to set it up…
But! I definitely will look into it in the future once I get my buffer back (hopefully will be recovering one by next week, minimum, I just need to pull myself together lol). I will say though, the comic updates each Friday, so that at least will be consistent!
i was the one who asked, and there is a feed now!

Yes, there’s definitely a tagging system with Wordpress from what I’ve seen, so I can do that! That being said though, I don’t know anything about RSS feeds, but the way I’ve been handling the releases is after posting the Patreon pages I then unlock the prior page. I don’t know if it will still trigger an RSS feed with an edited tag.
When a Patreon page updates, it’s also in tandem with a free release page, and while this will change in the future when there’s NSFW pages being released, it’ll probably still wind up just all updating on the same day and time regardless!
wordpress generally does all the rss feed stuff on the backend, but that’s a good point about whether it will push an rss feed update with an edited tag. it seems like it should, but sometimes websites… are weird.
in theory, here’s the default rss feed wordpress should generate for any post tagged ‘public’: https://mywerewolfgirlfriend.com/tag/public/feed/
versus the regular ol’ everything feed: https://mywerewolfgirlfriend.com/feed/
but with your consistent tandem updates, it shouldn’t be a big deal even if it doesn’t work! i only suggested it because it seemed like an easy tweak, but if it’s actually A Whole Thing then it’s probably not worth the trouble lol

FOR THE RECORD i would probably call kidd commander something like a Queer New Weird Adventure. if morrowind gets to be New Weird then why the fuck not. the queerness is very much central to the themes, it’s got scifi/fantasy/horror/surreal elements used for contemporary critique, and imho kc is very much an adventure serial in the old pulp style (which i assume will be more obvious in the novelizations than in the webcomic format).

those aren’t land bridges, they’re bridge bridges!
the southern one is the Mackinac Bridge, which is the longest suspension bridge in the western hemisphere.
it’s fucking ENORMOUS. it’s about 5 miles long and the deck is 200 feet over the water. the bridge towers are 550 feet tall.
it honestly breaks your brain a bit to look at it, but if you want to cross from Lower to Upper Michigan or vice versa, it’s your only choice.
and the northern circle is the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge, which is just fine.
(it’s pronounced “SOO saint marie”)
it takes you to Canada from Upper Michigan if you want to go, so there’s Customs at the end. bring your passport, and also your dog’s passport.
and that’s how we get around up here! if you need to go somewhere in the Great Lakes area and there’s one of these big watery fucks in the way, you either take one of these bridges, hop onto a car or passenger ferry, or drive the long way round.
the funniest part of living up here is how many people refuse to take the northern exit into sault ste marie mi, which is the fastest way to get to the college, because they’re too scared they’ll miss the exit and end up on the bridge to canada. i had a professor visiting from japan who took the long way going anywhere rather than risk it.
idk how it would work but i am honestly shocked nobody smarter than me has come up with a way to print a bunch of envelopes with addresses from a spreadsheet Quickly since half of us are doing mail clubs for supporters. literally this shit takes me DAYS it is the last bottleneck i haven't been able to improve at all since i started
you deffo should have been able to change the font with mail merge!! i’ve done it when making it big and annoying because the post office was being dumb as hell and i was feeling petty about it lol. my reply got stupid long so i’m reblogging instead SORRY anyway
when you use the mail merge wizard select ‘envelopes’ as your first option and then on the second hit the lil link that says 'envelope options…’ and you should be able to change your font to whatever
ALTi made a random excel file formatted the way i usually get lists but you can get away with formatting the spreadsheet pretty badly if you want, you’re going to have to fix it later anyway probably
ALTit doesn’t actually seem to insert the address block on its own which is stupid, you have to click where you want it and then insert the address block which defaults to being wrong, it does this to me all the time and i have no idea why so you have to match fields to make it not be ass

ALTthe address block code should show up in your chosen font which makes it pretty immediately clear whether or not it worked but your next option is to preview the envelopes anyway to see if it looks right with a real address on it (pardon my dark mode)

ALTso the biggest hurdle after that is just making sure the layout is right for your envelope, and also the actual physical printer. mine at work only likes to print on envelopes if you use the manual feed, which sucks ass in bulk, and also the heat can make the envelope adhesive kind of sticky. it’s never actually damaged an envelope but if you’ve got nice envelopes i can see that being a problem. some printers will let you put a whole stack in the tray but ymmv. if you’re actually folding a custom printed page into an envelope, then instead of using the envelope setting you should just use the letter setting and probably do some weird shit with tables to get the addresses in the right place (i do this to fill forms out in bulk sometimes at work lmao, a++ would recommend, filling out forms by hand is for suckers)

i’d love matchy masks again, but i’m realistic enough to understand that the reason everyone stopped making them is they stopped selling 🥲
I think lightweight bandanas are the next best thing, since they’re super versatile and one of their many uses is they can be worn over a mask to dress it up and make it matchy :3
