Hints in case you just want the answers. These are quite spoilery so turn back if you want to play the game blind (recommended).
Bok!
Practice how many times you say BOK using the chicken in the starting room. It is used to trigger several elements. You can also say SQUEEK.Eggs
Stand on a circle. Look at the chicken. Press space. Receive one second of bonus time for each egg that appears. The amount of eggs can't be changed. Most importantly, you can obtain +2 seconds in the starting room.Squeeking
Releasing the space key while looking up triggers a SQUEEK rather than GAWK.Red and Blue rugs
Time never moves on red rugs. Swap between blue and red rugs by standing on them while saying SQUEEK.Lights
Stand on the yellow X. Then hold space bar until you've heard as many BOK as there are short blinks in the adjacent light. Then release.Kitchen
The real kitchen can be accessed using the light in the starting room. You'll need a few more seconds to reach it. And to solve the microwave, you'll need to understand the 7 rules.Secret Doors
Stand in front of the door such that it displays "who's there?". Then say the secret sequence. The sequence can be found in the room with colorful rugs.Microwave
Digits can be entered as soon as you enter the kitchen. Charge up some BOK before entering the kitchen to enter the first digit almost instantly. Then enter the remaining two digits before time runs out.Microwave Code (heavy spoiler)
It's 8 1 2. So charge at least 6 boks before entering the kitchen. Release after 8 total boks. Then follow by bok-gawk. Then Bok-bok-gawk.Created in 4 days for GMTK Game Jam 2025 with the theme "Loop".

This was so silly and I loved it sm
I felt extremely smart when i figured ouy any of the rules and applying them all at the end was extremely satisfying.
Also my partner was half listening to me play and the face he made when the rubber chicken noises started was priceless.
This is surprisingly great! The best game I played from this jam so far and one of the best jam game I ever played!
When I read "inspired to Outer Wilds" in Discord, I thought to myself "No Way!", but this game totally delivers. It took me ~30-40 minutes to beat without hints.
I think you are overly explicit in some sections, where you outright spell out the mechanic, which I already figured out by that point experimentally (at the same time, I understand, that for a jam, it's better to make it too simple than too hard).
This has to be selected by Mark.
Amazing game with lots of 'aha!' moments in the short ~25 minute run time
I was captivated the whole time while playing this. It's a genuinely good escape room. Good job!
The ambience and audio on this made me so nervous which was perfect for the mystery atmosphere. Honestly I wondered how people would find creative takes on "time loops" but this one really nailed progressing through and uncovering lessons to keep it interesting!! I haven't beaten it yet though... I'm refusing to look at the hints as long as I can
this game is so cool, such a unique take on the theme. I love it, but could never beat it. I spent over a half hour (a well spent half hour). Honestly, best game I've played yet. Amazing job, man.
Thank you for playing! I appreciate it :)
I am curious to know if you managed to enter the real kitchen? What was preventing you from finishing?
I could never find the real kitchen. I had the code and knew every other lesson (I think)
Thank you. I have added an extra hint in the description to help other people from being stuck :)
