- Central Theme: The importance of family, as Oat and Nene flat-out discuss in episode 10.
- Death by Origin Story: Pam, Nene, and Oat all lost their mother. Pam lost her father, too.
- Driven to Suicide: The husband of Dokrak's homeroom teacher after discovering she was sleeping with Dokrak's father. Failed.
- Kawi in episode 11. Failed.
- Foreshadowing: In episode 4, we learn that the husband of one of his mistresses to try to take his own life, establishing that Khem's actions can lead to tragedy. And we see rather often since the beginning of the series that Kawi isn't handling things as well as he seems...
- Found Family: Nene slowly learns the value of making a family, especially in the place of blood relations that don’t act like family. The first to give her this is Oat. As Titang says in episode 8, "A house isn't as important as family."
- Extreme Doormat: Orn knows her husband cheats on her all the time, but she never does anything to address it.
- Happily Married: Rak and Pam after the 4-year time skip.
- Liar Revealed: Between episodes 9 and 10, Nene tells Rak that Pam has been working with her to sabotage the Chitrarak family. Rak takes it well, much to Nene and Pam’s surprise.
- Light/Darkness Juxtaposition: Nene, who typically wears lighter colors, to Oat, who usually wears black.
- Love Makes You Crazy: Nene's mother was so obsessed with Khem that she had his child just to make him stay. He promised her he'd return, but as time went on with his absense and lack of love, she fell deeper into her obsession with him to the point of neglecting Nene and even blaming her for him not coming back.
- Love Triangle: Dokrak and Kawi both love Pam, but Pam only falls in love with Dokrak.
- Loving a Shadow: Nene's mother was enamored with Khem to the point of obsession; she couldn't register that he didn't love her, no matter how Nene pleaded with her to open her eyes.
- Matchmaker Crush: The primary premise of the whole plot involves Rak trying to set Kawi with Pam when she herself has feelings for Pam.
- Misplaced Retribution: Nene is after Khem, but also Kawi and Rak. Only one of the above has done anything wrong.
- Parental Abandonment: Titang's parents left her when she was little, forcing her to move around a ton depending on which relatives would have her.
- Parental Neglect: Khem towards all of his extramarital kids. Speaking of, Chompoonuch to Nene.
- Queer Romance: Chalk another one up for GL.
- Really Gets Around: You'd be hard-pressed to find a woman Khem hasn't cheated with. He even slept with Rak's homeroom teacher.
- Oat freely admits that she used to be a player in the past. She’s since grown out of that, but she still retains some tendencies, as Nene takes note of.
- Revenge Romance: As part of Nene's revenge plan, Pam starts dating Kawi before shifting to Dokrak. This is where Pam starts having doubts about the plan, as she discovers the siblings not only aren't anything like Khem, but are also victims of his actions just the same.
- The Reveal: Nene is Dokrak and Kawi's half-sister and one of many illegitimate children of Khem.
- Revenge: Nene, Pam, View are all working together to bring down Khem.
- Romantic Fake–Real Turn: Pam is assigned to date Rak and Kawi in order to ruin their relationship, but she then starts developing real feelings for Rak.
- Sanity Slippage: Nene's mother slowly lost her mind over her inability to let go of Khem.
- Secret Relationship: Rak and Pam start one after Pam breaks up with Kawi in episode 5. Kawi finds out about it in episode 6.
- The Topic of Cancer: Bua comes down with stage 4 cancer in episode 8 and chooses not to get treatment for it. Her loved ones do what they can to make her comfortable until her eventual death in episode 12.
- We ARE Struggling Together: Dokrak and Kawi are both victims of Khem just as Nene is, but her inability to trust in their better nature blinds her to that, causing her to make her quest for vengeance needlessly complicated.
- Wham Episode: The fourth quarter of episode 11 opens with Kawi in the emergency room after attempting suicide. Orn had served Khem divorce papers, and he lashed out by siccing thugs to beat Nene within an inch of her life. Upon learning of this, Kawi has his father arrested, which prompts him to threaten him once he gets out of jail. All of this emotional turmoil was the final push to send Kawi over the edge, and his mother found him locked in his room with an empty bottle of sleeping pills.
- Where Are They Now: 4 years after Grandmother Bua's death, we see what the characters have gotten up to. Rak and Pam have gotten married. Kawi is still practicing medicine. Oat and Nene have started dating. Khem is still living on his own in his empty house, visitation only coming from sexual hookups. And the crew of Us & Art are deciding to move on to pursue other endeavors.
- You Killed My Father: Pam and Nene both hold Khem responsible for the deaths of their parents.
