A hard-working office lady for a high-tech company. One day, she drunkenly buys a Sex Bot, triggering the events of the story.
- The Alcoholic: She has a bad drinking habit, often getting passed out drunk every day after work.
- Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: She has the habit of ordering things online on a whim when drunk and then forgets all about it until they arrive. This is exactly what occurs when she purchases Nadeshiko, with the added disaster that she wanted to purchase a maid android only to end up with an illegal Sexbot.
- Beneath the Mask: At work, she puts on the mask of being a capable professional who's charismatic and has all under control. But in private life, she's a lonely and very awkward woman who struggles with anxiety.
- Big-Breast Pride: She admits she has similarly big boobs when comparing herself to Nadeshiko, which is one of the few areas she seems to think are worthy of a compliment.
- Butt-Monkey: A lot of the humor of the series comes at her expense, usually her being frustrated and annoyed by Nadeshiko's behavior and worrying about being exposed for owning an illegal robot.
- Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: She constantly has to keep Nadeshiko's naive and earnest personality in check lest she expose herself as a Sexbot, like walking in public with no underwear without a care.
- Chick Magnet: A lot of her co-workers pine for her, both male and female. Her boss is actually worried that the news that she got a girlfriend (which is what she thinks Nadeshiko is) may have company-wide repercussions if everyone knew.
- Living a Double Life: At work, Akane is a reliable Office Lady who efficiently completes her tasks and her colleagues rely on her for help. At home, she's a Lazy Bum who never cleans up her room and who frequently gets drunk alone.
- Obliviously Beautiful: Akane does not notice at all how pretty much everyone she works with has a crush on her. She laments that she is going to die alone in the first chapter despite spending all day with people blushing and stammering to talk to her.
- Oblivious to Love: She doesn't notice Itō-san's massive crush on her, despite it being obvious to everyone else at the company.
- Office Lady: At work, she's a cool and hard-working office lady who everyone finds reliable.
- Trash of the Titans: Akane's house is the first full of empty drink cans, dirty bags, and remains of snacks. An obvious visual cue of her troubled life.
- Virgin-Shaming: Being a 28-year-old woman who's never dated and is still a virgin is one of the reasons why she thinks she's a huge loser who will die alone.

A pleasure android that Akane purchased by accident.
- Big-Breast Pride: Nadeshiko proudly brags that she was modeled after the "ideal human body" while letting Akade grope her huge chest.
- Buxom Beauty Standard: Akane's awed by how big and supple her chest is.
- Covert Pervert: She has a sweet personality and innocent appearance, but the fact that she's a Sexbot means she often interprets things in a sexual manner, such as misunderstanding Akane's reluctance to use her as her being a "bottom".
- Curtains Match the Window: She has violet eyes and matching hair.
- The Cutie: She looks and acts in an adorable fashion, even when she's talking about things so lewd that it makes Akane blush.
- Genki Girl: She always act cheeruyl and upbeat, even when Akane is freaking out.
- Innocent Fanservice Girl: As a Sexbot, she doesn't really value the concept of modesty, only wearing clothes because Akane insists that she does. And even then, she forgoes wearing underwear and has no reaction to being possibly exposed by a gust of wind.
- Ms. Fanservice: She's a beautiful and curvaceous Sexbot who's frequently naked or acting promiscuously.
- Naked on Arrival: Nadeshiko's first appearance is emerging nude out of the huge box that arrived at Akane's house. Nadeshiko then attempts to talk to Akane, but she's too tired and just barely recognizes her as a naked girl.
- Ridiculously Human Robots: She's an android so advanced that she easily passes as a normal human, with the few features that betray that she's a robot being usually hidden, like a charging port at the back of her neck that is hidden by her hair. She also has a self-realized personality that's able to learn new things that don't pertain to her being a Sexbot, like learning how to cook. It's eventually revealed she's not a normal robot, but was actually developed by a Mad Scientist.
- Sexbot: Nadeshiko is an advanced robot designed for sexual use. She's equipped with all sorts of sensors, functions, and realistic body parts. This is illegal In-Universe, so Akane has to keep her hidden.
- Sex Goddess: True to expectations for a Sexbot built for pleasure, she's shown to be very successful at hitting Akane's "weak spots" and she brags that she can make a psychological analysis about what Akane likes in bed so she can keep getting better.
- Super Sexual Stamina: After Their First Time Akane's already reduced to a panting mess while Nadeshiko looks unfazed. Nadeshiko never gets tired during sex and leaves Akane so exhausted that she gets dehydrated often.
