I am a layman who has an interest in learning about intersexuality and helping/teaching others with what I have learned because of the lack of well-researched or respectful information and care of individuals who identify as intersex or otherwise have variation in sex characteristics (VSC). In addition, I advise you to not treat me as a monolith for intersex education as I am always someone who is prone to being incorrect, and I heavily encourage you to do your own independent research.

•-> Obligatory "don't be a dick" rule. Being whatever -isms, -phobics/-misics, and other asshole behavior in my notes is not allowed. I have opinions of my own as well, but we're gonna at least *try* to stay discourse-free here. Be tolerant if not outright nice. Everyone is allowed here otherwise yes perisex/endosex/dyadic people included, but try to be respectful and (metaphorically) wipe your feet and take your shoes off before entering.

•-> Queue currently posts five (5) times a day, assuming there's anything in there. If you haven't seen your request yet, be patient! Though please feel free to (respectfully) poke me or resend your request if it's been a while, I'm a single brain and sometimes they get lost or maybe I don't feel like doing one at *that* particular point in time for no discernable reason, and need a fresh pair of eyes.

•-> I encourage you to elaborate when you send in your headcanons! What's their variation, do they have any other identity labels they use (intersex-exclusive/related or not!), their pronouns, etcetera.

•-> No real people, no religious characters directly lifted from the source. Real people representing fictional characters (i.e. live action) are okay, parodies of the latter are as well. Real-life people themselves as characters in fictional media are on thin ice and will be tagged as "#hamilton rule".

•-> Canon and coded intersex characters are allowed to be sent in and encouraged! Please specify if, where, and how their intersex identity presents!! (link) I want to prevent accidental switcheroos where I claim canonicity when there isn't or vice versa.

Marla Singer from Fight Club is intersex and an IGM survivor, and her variation is Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (CAIS)!

The requester elaborates: “ when her and the narrator are discussing which support groups they should get to go to, she says she should go to the testicular cancer support group instead of him because “[he] still has [his] balls.” i know this could be her or the writers wording it poorly, but the usage of the word “still” makes me think she might’ve had them at some point but they were removed. iirc, she probably would say that she has testicular feminization syndrome instead though, since that’s what it was called at the time ”

Nicholas "Nick" Arsenio Birch from Big Mouth is canonically intersex-coded, and he has a delayed puberty, transient gynecomastia, and a micropenis!

The requester elaborates: “ At some point, he temporarily winds up with a hormone monstress instead of monster (female instead of male hormone creature). He questions it "is this normal", "am i the only boy with a Hormone Monstress", "is something wrong with me" etc. He goes back and forth between trying to embrace it and being super upset by it. During this time, he starts growing breasts, which is super distressing for him. He also experiences intersexist bullying from friends and family alike. Even before being shamed for his chest he experiences peer shaming for having a small penis and being a late bloomer, as well as internal turmoil and shame. ”

Part of her crush on Nicole is that when she sleeps over at Nicole's house and Nicole sees her bulge (for the canon blind, Emily didn't bring PJs so she slept in her undies), she doesn't give a shit or treat her differently.
