  • Note: Won the German Women's Chess Championship in 2003. She has won the German Women's Blitz Chess Championship twice (1996 and 2004) and has won the German Women's Rapid Chess Championships (1997).

Gerd Katter (deceased)

  • Note: In 1927, at age sixteen, Katter became a patient of Magnus Hirschfeld's Institut für Sexualwissenschaft in Berlin with his mother, and had gender affirming surgery in the form of a double mastectomy.
  • Note 2: In 1928, at age eighteen, Katter sought further affirmation of his gender identity through acquiring a document known as a transvestite pass (German: Transvestitenschein). This document, issued by the governments of the German Empire and the Weimar Republic, identified its carrier as a transvestite, and allowed them to present in a way that may not have aligned with their assigned sex at birth.

Noa-Lynn van Leuven

  • Occupation: Prof darts player, chef
  • Note: First openly transgender person to compete in a televised darts tournament and the first to play at the PDC World Darts Championship, making her debut at the 2025 event. Van Leuven has won six titles on the PDC Women's Series, as well as a title on the 2024 PDC Challenge Tour.

Antonella Lerca Duda

  • Ethnicity: Romani
  • Nationality: Romanian
  • Occupation: Activist, sex worker, political candidate
  • Note: She is the founder of Sex Work Call, Romania's first sex workers' rights organisation. In 2020, she ran in the Romanian local elections, becoming the country's first trans election candidate. However, Lerca did not receive the 1,700 signatures required to run in the election.

Katya Saunders (deceased)

  • Occupation: Cabaret performer, activist, model, socialite
  • Note: Was one of the first openly transgender women and gay activists in Malta. Spent a portion of her life living in London and New York, where she became a known figure in fashion circles and is described as being the muse behind some of fashion designers Charles & Ron's collections.

Elis Lundholm

  • Gender: Transgender man
  • Sexuality: Queer
  • DOB: 10 July 2002  
  • Ethnicity: White - Swedish
  • Occupation: Olympic mogul skier
  • Note: He has won four Swedish championship medals and competed for his country in the 2026 Winter Olympics. Lundholm is the first openly trans athlete to compete in a Winter Olympics; as of 2026 he competes in the women's category due to the current IOC rules.
