i've recently been considering if i should try to socially transition in regards to my nonhumanity.
i haven't told any of my human friends that i am a werewolf. i'm not sure how they'd react.
i know for certain, though, that i'd have at least one friend that would not nor care to understand what i mean.
i haven't felt an overwhelming urge to tell anyone though, i am content with no one being privy to the fact i'm nonhuman.
though, that might change, i suppose; it's lonely being a creature in secret.
yesterday, i saw a coyote in broad daylight along the side of the road.
its ears were pinned back and it shuffled nervously along the gravel beside the road, darting back every time a car roared by.
it looked scared and out of place--it knew this wasn't where it belonged, it knew this wasn't its home.
but it kept shuffling by the roadside, like it wasn't sure what to do or where to go.
I feel that way sometimes. maybe all the time.
