Because I am not interested in discussing them, I will likely delete any ask you send about them, even if I agree with you.

Please do not send me the same ask multiple times. Especially if it's a complicated question that requires some thought. I will get to it when I get to it, if I choose to get to it at all. The more times you send an ask, the less likely I am to answer it.

Please do not ask me for images/concept art/screencaps of a specific scene/character/setting/what have you unless you’ve already done an internet search for it yourself and haven’t had much luck with results. Most of the things people ask me for are easy to find. If I can do an image search and find the thing you’re asking me for within seconds, I’m likely not going to provide it to you. Why should I have to do all the legwork for you? This goes for YouTube videos, as well. Look for it before you ask me for it.

On top of this, don’t request things that generally require a ton of legwork for me. “Which character is taller than which?” is fairly easy, if there’s just one comparison to make. But if you want a list of several - plus screencap evidence - you’re already asking me to do a lot of work. Check out my Reference tag to see if what you’re asking for has already been answered.

Jin Kim's production art and character sheets give a really good idea of what the characters' face shapes are supposed to be, and I remember thinking that her face shape was too skull-like in the series, even when she's young.

Her chin is far too narrow for my taste in the series. Her jaw, even in fully-rendered CGI is much more square than that, with much less slope between cheekbone and jaw.

I don't know if they were trying to make Cassandra look less like her (though a lot of people clocked their visual similarities right away anyway), but I felt like it was extremely off from her actual design.

I think (actually, I know) that the vast majority of people in the Avatar universe are not benders, and that bending is linked to spirituality. It's not magic or physical prowess, and it's not random. Also, reminder that metalbending is earthbending, and not a separate element.

Rapunzel is the only one I see as definitely being a bender, if I'm honest. I get where you're coming from about Rapunzel and being a firebender because of the sun, but have you considered that she's a healer, so a waterbender? Or, because of her general personality, an airbender? All things considered, given all she can do through the course of the movie and series, and her association with a plant that was influenced by the sun, Rapunzel would be the Avatar, born to the Fire Nation, but kidnapped as a baby. (Can you imagine the big deal of her kidnapping being less that she was a princess and more that the freaking Avatar got kidnapped? XD)

Eugene (non-bender) would be born in the Northern Watertribe, but raised in the Earth Kingdom (outside of Ba Sing Se). Lance (non-bender) was born and raised in the Earth Kingdom (same orphanage as Eugene).

Since I'm equating the Dark Kingdom with the Northern Watertribe (associated with the moon, deliberately closed off from the rest of the world), Quirin would have immigrated from there to the Fire Nation, where Varian was born. Varian (also not a bender), would be more like Teo and his father -- an inventor and alchemist.

Cassandra would also be raised in the Fire Nation, though born outside it, in the Earth Kingdom. If she turned out to be a bender, she would come into her earthbending powers very late, and would really struggle to have any sort of control over them. Maybe something about having her chakras put into sudden alignment that allowed for it, or maybe the opposite of the thing Aang does to Ozai, where her bending is unblocked. She'd have spent her life training up to be a warrior who didn't need bending to fight.
