SDCC 2026 Catch Up
Hey everyone! Apologies I've been neglecting Tumblr the past few weeks, it's been a bit of a whirlwind.
I had a blast at San Diego Comic Con and was honored to be on a panel talking about our TMNT comics with IDW. Thanks so much to all of you who showed up, it was a fun time.
The rest of the Con was a lot of fun as well - I spent entirely too much money (as usual) and got a chance to meet up with a lot of fellow TMNT writers, editors and fans.
My biggest purchase was this Slash figure from Mondo Collectibles which I still haven't brought myself to take out of the box yet. It glows in the dark!
Yesterday was the FOC for Coastal Chaos #1. If you missed the preorder don't worry, you'll be able to pick it up when it hits the racks on September 9th.
And I got to tease our next arc for Tales which will involve a certain Timestress you may be familiar with...
Beyond that I'm busy working on the Mutant Mayhem sequel which is still set to come out in August of 2027. We still have a lot of work to do, but it's coming along!
Anyway, hope everyone is having a great summer and surviving the heat!

This was so adorable. Obviously it's all light-hearted, but Jacob's kind of sad little "yeahhhh" when she says Sam's not there, and then the way his face changes when she says "air grievances" and his hands going out and saying "We love Sam Reid" and then what he says at the panel about we love you sam reid and it's weird Sam's not there and wanting everyone to cheer for Sam again.... their friendship really is just so incredibly lovely.
It’s so lovely, anon, and kind of hilariously as much as we all missed Jam at SDCC, I feel like Jacob missed him/it more, haha.

The Eisner Awards Hall of Fame judges have chosen 16 nominees from whom voters will select 4 to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this summer. These 4 will be joining the 19 individuals that the judges have already chosen for the Hall of Fame.
