🥀When Someone Insults Sebastian Michaelis’ S/O

A/N: Inspired by this dude who I was talking to who called me fat. I cried, not because of the guy, because the fear that “I am fat,” is not an insecurity yet a fact is horrifying. It broke something in me because “if he sees it, everyone else must… right?” And because I can’t call him an ass wad who is lucky to be graced with my presence bc he’s my coworker… I made this. And Sebastian gets revenge on him for me. LOL. More to come tomorrow!

• His displeasure runs deep. Sebastian is not easily ruffled, but to discover that someone dared insult you—the one he considers sacred—is something that chills him to the bone. He doesn’t need to raise his voice; his silence alone is enough to suffocate the room.

• He notices immediately when you change. You start covering up, pushing away his touch, refusing intimacy you once craved. To anyone else it might seem subtle, but Sebastian knows you better than anyone. He feels the hesitation in your hands, the way your eyes linger on your reflection too long, the pause in your laughter.

• His reaction is not pity—it’s fury disguised as calm. He doesn’t ask who said it. He already knows. And though he may never confess what he does about it, you’ll notice that person looks just a little paler the next time you see them, their smile brittle, their voice careful around you.

• His affection becomes relentless. He doesn’t give you space to shrink away from yourself. Every chance he gets, he reminds you—in a voice dripping with equal parts reverence and threat—that you belong to him. That every inch of you is his to admire, to worship, to claim.

• The intimacy changes. If you flinch from his kiss, he simply tilts your chin up and makes you meet his eyes until you realize there is no revulsion there—only hunger. If you eat less, he’s suddenly “too attentive,” serving you meals he prepares himself, standing over you until you take each bite.

• He is cruel in his kindness. His compliments aren’t soft reassurances; they’re declarations carved into your soul. “How dare you believe yourself anything less than divine?” he’ll murmur, with a smile so sharp it cuts. His love is not gentle—it’s consuming. And he won’t allow a single stray word from a mortal tongue to undo what he has already claimed.

Mini Ficlet:

The words are spoken lightly, a careless jest.

“No man will love a woman so plump she looks as though she’s carrying twins already.”

It’s said with a laugh, as though it costs nothing. But Sebastian is there. And he sees.

He sees the way your smile falters, the way your laughter dies in your throat. He sees the heat creep to your cheeks—not from mirth, but from shame, sharp and stinging. He sees your hands curl against your skirts, as if you could hide yourself from their gaze.

He files it away. He serves the tea. He does not strike in the moment.

Later, he finds you in your chambers, staring at your reflection as though you’ve become something grotesque. You pull your shawl tighter. Refuse his touch when his gloved hand grazes your arm.

“Curious,” he murmurs, stepping closer, the silk of his voice cutting sharper than any blade. “One witless fool speaks, and suddenly you would deny me what I have claimed?”

Your lips tremble. He doesn’t let you answer. He catches your chin between his fingers, tilting your face up until your tear-bright eyes meet his.

“Do you think me blind?” His voice is velvet, laced with iron. “I have devoured queens and saints alike, and none have compared to you. Every inch of you is mine—sacred, exquisite, untouchable. And yet you would let their filth crawl beneath your skin?”

His kiss is searing, possessive, reclaiming the ground they sought to poison.

And as for the one who spoke those words?

They do not laugh again.

That night, they wake choking, their throat clutched by invisible claws. They stumble through darkened halls, chased by a shadow that does not relent. Their body will bear no wounds come morning—but their spirit will.

Sebastian ensures they never again forget the weight of their tongue.

And you, when you see them pale and trembling, wonder what storm passed over them. Sebastian only smiles as he pours your tea.
