"Julian Bashir is transgender" yes but also can we talk about how his story can be seen as an intersex allegory as well. his parents forced him into surgery at a young age because he wasn't developing like other "normal" kids. he didn't even know what was done to him until he was grown. it lead to a sense of disconnect from his own body and anatomy and a deep sense of loss stemming from his identity having been changed without his consent. is this anything

If you're creative enough, any character can be gender/pronoun non-conforming, binary trans, nonbinary, cistrans, intersex, dysex, ersex, altersex, or any other form of TGD (trans & gender diverse) or varsex identity. In fact you can give them multiple of these traits!!!
