As someone who writes almost exclusively in my iPhone notes app, most of the content being one shots and random fic ideas, I have discovered that once the word limit reaches past like 10k, it starts becoming too much for one note to handle.
I have been deep in the trenches of writing a Hualian parenting fic that is currently standing at 17k word count.
Writing past the 7k mark has been a struggle against my phone. It heats up an exorbitant amount, it lags like crazy, and backspacing is a goddamn nightmare. Granted my phone is iPhone 11 that I have had since it released god knows how many years back, and it dysfunctions on a regular basis. Some days I struggle to turn it on!
But goddamit let me write my fanfiction in peace you stupid piece of technology!
