Regarding Othertale
I have been asked questions concerning where Othertale is at and what Color!sans is supposed to be so here we go!
Firstly regarding the scripts I would consider not taking them as canon since some things are changed and updated but you can look at them for fun headcanons, after all this story should be fun!
Secondly about my animations for othertale on my YouTube channel, sadly my YouTube channel got taken down after it got hacked and with it my animations but I have the files,yet I don't know if I should re upload them since they follow the script but maybe I could consider later.
Now that no script nor animations are reliable what now?
Who is Color!sans?
He is a deleted code from a copy of the game, he went off script on a genocide run absorbing the six human souls becoming what he is now, yet it was a mistake and the game broke down causing his code to be deleted and get sent to the off bound or the room between rooms with the discarded or what he calls " the void "
What happened after that?
Color finds Gaster or whatever remained of him, Color doesn't remember who Gaster is, so Gaster shows Color who he is yet he told color more information that Color didn't need to know and it almost drove him to madness, being in denial he seeked to find his original universe but found out that he was forgotten and everything was rewritten without him in it, he spent ages watching everyone move on without him until a threat appeared that endangered this universe.
What was the threat?
Color now knows the boundaries of this world and that there is an important figure that operates this world, It's the player or more known as the red soul and the hacker.
How did he deal with it?
Well he needed an outside help since he couldn't reach the outside world, in particular Undyne by luring her in and giving some of the justice soul power to her so she could protect the monsters at least temporarily until he finds a way out.
Oh boy! What comes after?
I would love to keep this part for me to show to you in little comics and contents for y'all! So we could still have fun :)
So what about the Color!sans we have right now?
Current Color has gone through the story already and doesn't live in his original universe anymore, instead he now has the ability to hop from AU to AU thanks to some adjustments Gaster made to him he can even hop in different deltarune universes, using his grey sentry stations and grey doors, but he returns back to the void from time to time since his adjustments aren't that perfect as his body starts deteriorating outside the void.
What is Color's personality now?
Color is pretty much close to the og sans' personality wise with an exception of heightened emotions related to one of the six souls when he uses or interact with the soul he needs or when that soul need to interact with sans, he became more honest with himself and more open minded of his surroundings and took on an optimistic nihilistic behavior. he yet to be driven mad by gaster though. he has been making friends with other AUs like Delta and Epic and especially Killer, who became close to Color accompanying him most of the time and traveling together.
What are Color's powers/abilities?
Color has the og's abilities but inhanced with the human souls including a powerful gasterblaster and extended color arms in addition to:
- Kindness he can make healing food and shield.
- Bravery speed and powerful punches (learned that from Delta but Delta perfected this more).
- Patience turn himself invisible
- Integrity makes himself lighter or heavier.
- Justice he can emit electricity.
- Perseverance purple web that ties opponents or used as rope.
He can mix some of them together to make better combo.
But the downside is that it takes a huge toll on his body and risks him dusting then dying therefore he needs a lot of rest retreating to the void.
More importantly he never uses sharp weapons and rarely uses gaster blasters, yet he can use the hand blaster once per rest.
At the end this story is about remembrance and freedom, how would your choices shape your legacy.
