Saan or The One of the Two Rivers | they/he/she/it The Dragonmaiden Synopsis | Born in the far north of Ymsath, Saan was set on a pilgrimage south, picking up the art of medicine along the way. Roughly at the halfway point of their journey, when spurred to investigate the pained draconic cries from the lower levels of the underground city they were studying in, Saan meets a poaching crew and is forced to come with them on their hunt for dragons, tasked with healing them from injuries sustained during the hunt. Once freed, Saan is found by a great dragon whose kin they have released from imprisonment. This dragon, The Night of the Emerald Moon, takes Saan as its charge. They accompany the dragon on its quests of securing the dragon's home island from hunters, and over time earn the trust of the other dragons residing in the area.
